I was very impressed with the quality and construction of these pads. I have a senior dog who has started to experience minor urinary incontinence. These pads are absorbent but light weight and cover her beds completely. I also put one on the leather couch she likes to share with me but they do tend to slide. Small thing to reposition after she gets off couch and I think this wouldn’t be a problem on a different surface. I would feel safe using them on cloth couch because I have found no leaks on her bedding. She has a tendency to nest build so sometimes I have to make sure she is still on the pad but that would happen with any kind of cover. She is a 70 pound dog so her beds are large. If you have a small dog or cat you could probably tuck the ends under to hold it in place better. The instructions for which side to go on top are attached to the pad so you don’t have to worry about using them the wrong way.. I washed them after about three days because her problem is minor. They washed like a dream but were still damp after a dryer run. I hung them over the porch bannister in the sun and they dried completely. I bought a four pack so there was no rush to get them dry. Much easier than having to wash the whole bed! The color leaves a lot to be desired but I am much more interested in utility than appearance. If something like that bothers you, you could always cover the pad with a dog blanket but you would make more work for yourself. I highly recommend them. ... show more

These are great! Absorbent, wicks wetness away. We’ve been using 2 weeks with 11 week old puppy. She went seamlessly from puppy pads to this. It works well size wise in her puppy pen; so much so, I ordered 18x24 size to use as we train her to move from puppy pad to outside pottying. They launder well if done according to manufacturer. No fabric softener, air dry or on low, don’t over dry, etc… No shrinkage noted, seem to stay out better than disposable paper pads, no leaks—my floors have been dry beneath! I will try to update after a while about durability but I don’t expect a problem there. ... show more

I have a 90+ lb rottweiler and live in an apt on the 3rd floor, so no yard for her to go in when I'm not home. And she drinks a lot, and pees a lot. This dog will seriously pee like 10+ times on a walk just around the block. I had other reusable pads, but they weren't working well anymore. The floor was always wet underneath and I'd have to mop the area every afternoon. With these, I no longer have that issue. These are better than the others were new. I wash them on warm and lay to dry. I did not download the instructions, but I had read other reviews that mentioned how to care for them. My only complaint is I would have liked to be able to pay with my FSA card like I did the others 🤣 ... show more

Bought these for my elderly mother who is incontinent at night. We were using disposable pads, but they smelled bad & generated a lot of waste, including plastic waste, which I'm really trying to avoid. These not only clean up better, but they work better as well. They keep the bed and my mother so much drier, and they don't smell as much either. I highly recommend them for everyone who has any possible use for this kind of product in any reasonable application. If you think it fits your situation, give it a try.     • Never Buy Ordinary Puppy Pads Again!

I can see where this product would be great for grandkids and grandparents alike, especially at night time. However, we have 6 dogs, 3 of which still use pee pads (even though they're all seniors). We were changing the old pads 4-6 times a day. Spending $35 for 100 pads that didn't last long for 3 dogs was getting old, especially since the price keeps increasing every time we purchase pads. I saw the Improvia ad and decided to give it a chance. I bought the pack of 6 and with 3 dogs we wash a load of 3 pads about twice a week. They are super absorbent and when the dogs pee a lot on one end, I rotate the pad around so they can get the other side evenly. We place the pad in a large dog crate tray, which keeps the pad in place. I've only washed two loads of the Improvia pads so far, but I don't think we'll be buying the old pads anymore. I should get at least a year out of the Improvia pads, so $$$ saved, for sure! Great company follow-up, too. ... show more

My dog has been having issues with incontinence for the past couple of months and it has been a big challenge. We were using the disposable mats, but she hated the texture of them and would move them off of her bed on the couch. She doesn’t seem to mind the texture of these, and they work so well! If she pees a lot, there will be a damp spot, but nothing like with the disposable mats. I also love that these are washable, and can be reused, seemingly indefinitely! I bought instead of six so we can switch them out as needed instead of having to wash every time. It will probably save us a good bit of money in the long run, and I don’t have to feel guilty about throwing away a bunch of pads every day! ... show more

Okay, this is not one of those spoof reviews... I am actually using these to potty train my 2-year-old iguana. He is free-roaming in my studio apartment, and picked a spot on my kitchen floor to do his business. If you know anything about caring for iguanas, you know that there is a LOT of liquid involved. These are amazingly absorbent, and make such a difference in cleanup. Right now, my whole floor is covered in them in the smallest size available (18"x24"), with the hope of scaling back to one pad that I can pick it up when he's done, but he's still getting comfortable going on the pads themselves. They are really, really well-made, and my first thought when I saw them was that these would have been so much more comfortable and convenient when caring for relatives in hospice. They are low-profile, but have some weight to them so they lay flat right away, unlike the paper disposable ones, and the fabric is also soft and smooth. It wouldn't stick to the skin or chafe it. Plus, they are easy to wash and therefore WAY more eco-conscious and economic. Oh, and I scanned the QR code on the bag and found out it's a family-owned business, not some fly-by-night alphabet soup trying to make a quick buck and disappear.
