Not sure about the absorbency—they’re very thin though -I only ever use them if I am away from home and need to change our baby’s diaper and need a clean surface to do so that I can easily throw away with the diaper. Also great as a surface on at home changing table for the super messy diapers!! They’ve saved many of our surfaces at home from baby poo a since our baby seems to think that’s a great time to squirm all over the place😩😅 These are made to be used for PEOPLE- not animals so there are no chemicals in them like “puppy pads” that would attract your dog to use inside-also deeming them perfectly safe to use during a diaper change and/or under a bandage after surgery etc.. But I’m sure you still could use them as a “puppy pad” in a pinch and save a ton of $$. Again though-these are not the same as ones intended for animal house training-those I wouldn’t put anywhere near a baby. Overall great for that use ... show more

Perfect for my needs. I put my pups in a playpen (instead of cage) as it is easier for me and comfier for them. These pads fit perfectly at the far end. These are more sanitary and cost effective than having to wash bedding daily and scrubbing the mat. I do still have to clean the mat but not as often. Cheapest pads on Amazon, it seems, and for good reason. Very likely a top product for training puppies, but not absorbent enough for senior dogs on fluid pills. When through these faster than other pads, which didn't necessarily make this a more affordable option. Good, but better for puppies.

I rarely immediately regret buying something, but boy was this one of them. Here are my thoughts on these training pads: They're small. Generally that's not a problem--like other training pads we've tried, they have a blue plastic edging of a couple inches that gives more room. Except you can't just flap these pads out and be done. You have to pick the blue edging from where it's stuck to the the padding all. the. way. around the edges of the pad. It's a massive waste of time. They're thin. Fine. As long as a pad has high absorbency, I don't care how thin it is. Except these ones are not that absorbent. We change the pad EVERY time it's used, but we still have gotten spills over the edge. They're flimsy, they're not terribly absorbent, and they make me gnash my teeth every time I have to waste time picking at the edging to try to spread it out. We've tried many training pads, and these are the absolute worst. ... show more
