  • Really Versatile
It’s a bit larger than expected, but works great in many situations. More than enough for todays LED lights.

  • Very good as expected
It's the real deal, well made.

  • Not a Cardellini, but not bad.
I have several Cardellini clamps, and they are amazing. I saw this and gave it a try. It works pretty well, but is nowhere near the machine quality. It does work great for most stuff... I just wouldn't put as much weight on it as a real Cardellini. The threads are more broad and will loosen up for sure. If your rig is moving, I would use the real McCoy. If it is light and in a studio, this will work great. ... show more

  • Works as described
It's not a Matthews, but works very similar!

  • Grip adhesive is not adequate
I attached this clamp to an overhead lighting truss at an angle held away from the truss, and attached a light with a softbox. Over time, the light slipped down until it was resting against the truss. See the photo for the explanation of why this happened -- the adhesive attaching the grip lining failed. I have some other similar units that I bought at a store in the U.S. (Glazer's in Seattle) which have not had this problem. Rating only one star because they basically don't work for their purpose unless you happen to want to hang something plumb with gravity. ... show more

  • Good but Matthelini is Better
Not as good as Matthelini, after having both I would spend the extra for the Mathhelini or Cardelini. It's not bad, it's just not as smooth.

  • mystically irreverent
I have used original Cardellinis, Matthews and all other big name units, these work as well as any of them. They are priced a bit cheaper which makes a difference if you plan on purchasing several hundred at a time. They don't take the place of a well balanced breakfast though, that's for sure.
