Completely useless and dangerous. Tried it out on my Pontiac fiero (not a heavy car in the slightest, barely 2600lbs total) and the entire base of the jack collapsed. Quite bummed out because this was the lowest profile scissor jack I could find

If you just want something that is small but good enough to change out a tire this is what you need. Small, sturdy, and the wrench makes the lifting so easy and quick. I recommend everyone has one in their vehicle for emergencies.

I tried it out as soon as it arrived. First I greased the threaded rod. Then I jacked the 3600 lb. car up. It went up smoothly and without much effort. My chief worries are: 1. The metal construction is much lighter than I was expecting. 2. The base is smaller than I expected. I would worry about it slipping if not on a solid surface such as asphalt or concrete.
