I haven’t used this product yet, but it clearly says in the description “Easy to Use: No bowl or brush needed - simply apply to hair for 5 minutes before rinsing in the shower.” The actual product box label and instructions say: “Make it stay on hair for 20-25 minutes after application. If the color cover is not perfect, please let it stay for 25-30 minutes during your next dye.” It also says to “[p]lease keep your hair dry before starting”, so it isn’t really functioning like a shampoo that you can use in the shower; it’s functioning like a normal hair dye that you just don’t have to mix and takes the same amount of time as normal hair dye.
