These snips are well machined and sharp. They were perfect for my usecase of terminating cat6 ethernet cables. I just wish there was a safety mechnism to keep them closed when you're not using. A plastic case covering the sharp end might be a good solution as well.

The price point of these had me on the fence at first. How good could the quality be for such a low price? Well I was pleasantly surprised by what ended up coming. I have had it for about a week now, and have used it quite a bit doing a project on my vehicle. It has been cutting everything quite well, haven't had any issues with it at all. Will update if something ends up happening but again for the price they are worth the risk. I mean its not Knipex, but at 1/10th the price id say its worth it if you think it might be something you would like to check out. ... show more

I've used these clippers to cut 3/4" edge banding for plywood cabinets for a number of projects. They are very sharp and leave an excellent clean cut--however it does take two cuts (one from each side because the clippers aren't quiet long enough for 3/4" edge banding). This are perfect for 1/2" or smaller, but if you are regularly cutting 3/4" then you might want to consider a larger cutter. ... show more
