Easy install of this high definition doorbell camera. it comes with screws and mounting tape, your choice of how to put it up. The battery charging is by USB C, and is quick if you use a high powered plug (not included) They do include a cable, USB A to USB C. The batteries seem to last for many days once you set up the motion detector correctly. I have a tree limb in the field of view, and at first I had set the sensitivity too high, and it was recording the wind! The outside unit chimes when pressed, and the inside unit (battery operated chime) is easily paired, and can be placed many feet away from the outside unit. Mine is about 28 feet away and it works perfectly. There are a few tones you can choose from for the sound which is a nice touch. There is a speaker and microphone on the outside unit, and it can provide notifications on your phone automatically. The app is CLOUDEDGE and set up is easy here as well. The app and connecting this to your WIFI is done with a QR code generated by the app, very slick. This is self contained, and I put a 128GB chip in, there is no need to subscribe to a cloud based service, however, you can get some AI features if you do. There are ways to share the images and app, but I don't do that either. You can record voice messages so you could say - "Can't get to the door, leave the package" or other messages as well. I rate this a VERY HIGH 4 stars, the only demerit is the fact that you cannot hardwire it if you wished to, which means you have to charge the battery when it gets low. So far I love this doorbell camera. I purchased two outdoor cameras from ieGeek several months ago and they have worked flawlessly, so I decided to give their new doorbell camera a try. I installed it a few weeks ago. Installation and connectivity were very simple. The only item I would like improved is to have a wedge-shaped backplate included with the package. My existing doorbell location is on my house siding, not on the door trim. Without a wedge to level out the camera it would face upward too much to work. I used one from my previous camera and it worked great. The camera works as advertised. It is reliable with a great picture, and alerts with motion of people accurately. You can adjust the area of motion, and you can schedule when you want to be alerted of motion. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and recommend it given the price-to-quality, and the fact you get free basic cloud storage plus the ability to insert an SD card for local storage. ... show more

I really like and recommend this doorbell. It is wireless and I like the convenience of having an app with all my 5 iegeek cameras and the doorbell. It makes it very easy to see everything from one application. One thing I was confused about was that I couldn't find the slot for the SD card. You need to use the pin from the accessory to poke into the small hole at the bottom of the doorbell to remove the doorbell itself. The Micro SD card slot is on the left side of the product. This is a great affordable doorbell camera. I enjoyed how easy it was to install and set up - it took about 5 minutes as I already had the ieGeek app for my other cameras. It is particularly attractive how it records the 6 second motion detection clips without having to pay for a subscription, so is even better value than it appears. I like how it is wireless and the battery life seems solid (seems to be on track to last 1-2 months even with quite a lot of motion detection) and can easily recharge with a portable battery back without even dismounting it if preferred. This is the worst doorbell camera. The only thing it does is show the image when the person rings the doorbell. It doesn't allow you to review any footage. It says no SD card detected when in fact a brand new SD card was inserted. You can't pull the history and you can't view any pass images. Total waste of money. They want you to subscribe to their monthly cloud fee if you don't the camera is useless. ... show more
