I specifically wanted a dual zone fridge/freezer with dimensions that would fit through the deck hatch on my boat. The ICECO VL75 ticked all the boxes at the right price - considerably cheaper than some of the other major brands! It’s simple to set up and the control panel is user friendly. Once set and powered up (12v or 120v) the compressor kicks in and the compartments are quickly down to temperature. I had one set to -10 Celsius as a freezer and the other at +4 Celsius as a fridge. Put a glass of water in the bottom, turned it down low and it froze solid. Turned it up to 35 and water was still cold 4 days later. Quiet as a mouse. Couldn't hear it at all. Using in my campervan and it works just great.

I received messaging this morning saying this was delivered. I was confused because no doorbell rang and no delivery person came to the front porch. I messaged the seller, then saw it was delivered by FedEx. Past experiences with them told me to check around the back of the house. BINGO! There was my delivery. SUPER FAST shipping on a product that will last a long time. ICECO makes awesome reefer/freezer units and I bought 2 of my own this time so I could stop borrowing from my friends. I will update later after my first outing if things are different than expected. I would recommend this product and I would buy from this seller again! ... show more

Spent many months looking for a camping fridge. I liked the fact that this is expandable, and because of that, will meet many of my needs. Ran it through a couple tests, and have used it on a couple outings. Its been great. Shoved as many water bottles as I could into it. Set it to below 32*, and it took about 24 hrs to freeze all but a few bottles. Turned it down to the lowest setting and everything froze after a few hours. So it takes awhile, to take room temperature items to a point where its all frozen. Turned it off and enjoyed ice cold(Frozen at first)water for 7+days. So well insulated. Used it to run to the store for food. Pre-chilled ahead of getting the food, and everything stayed completely frozen. Including Ice Cream 5 day camping trip hooked to a 120amp/hr battery. Battery was fine each morning, and solar topped it up each day. So Very happy, so far. Only drawback is it lacks a light on the inside. I new it didn't have one, but think they should have included one. Many others do. ... show more

I received month ago. I test it 110V 2day keep running. working great. also, test it 12V 2day it was no problem. after test my family go to camping 7day. without the solar. but, it was working great with car battery. made in China? German?

    • Great portable frig!
Love it! Used it several times. Gets down to temp temp quickly and maintains temperature well. The power cord that plugs into the wall unit needs some kind of fastener as it comes apart too easily. The cooler itself works well and I would highly recommend.

When this fridge works it's great. But it's hard to plan long trips when you get wild temperature fluctuations of 25 degrees or more. Had it set to 32 degrees and it went up as hi as 68! After being left in a lurch on our trip to Zion this summer Iceco finally sent me a replacement, but this new one is already dying on me. not impressed. ... show more
