This things works awesome for my sailboat. Takes about 10 mins to produce about a cup of bulky ice. But after the first dispense of ice, it really starts to make a lot. Quiet. Easy to use. Best for bulk ice in large Yeti style cups.

This relatively inexpensive ice maker saved the day on our recent vacation. The photo of our room showed a refrigerator, however we have a 'trust but verify' attitude on things like that, so we brough this ice maker and several cooler bags. Of course, when we got to our room there was no refrigerator, nor was there an ice machine in the entire facility. We used this ice maker to keep things cool for the rest of the trip. The speed of ice delivery was pretty fast, with a new batch of 9 ice 'cylinders' every 6 minutes or so, however if you need very large quantities of ice made quickly, this machine is not for you. For us keeping an assortment of drinks cool all day in our mid-size cooler bags, this was perfect. We had the machine running in the bathroom (ice not for drinking!), so it was completely silent for us. I would highly recommend this Ice Maker, especially if you can get it for $68 or less like we did. ... show more

I Love, love, love this ice maker, it fits perfectly on my counter. It's convenient and super quiet!!! I'm on my third day of using it. The ice begins to melt quickly so after about 3 or 4 drops I put the ice in a freezer bag and store them away. There's always a bit of water left so I ensure to empty it, dry it out and let air dry. This works great, but my only complaint is that the ice melts very quickly like it’s not completely frozen. It could just be the shape of it since the ice comes out in a tube shape. But other than that it makes ice fairly quickly and easy to use.
