The bag was nice and had nice features, it appeared to be well made. but the bag on its rack sat too high off my back fender making it harder to get onto my bike. My leg would catch the bag as I would straddle my bike. I had to return the bag and rack.

    • Definitely meant for commuting, and not for trail riding.
This item is sturdy, but only meant for commuting not really for trail riding, which is what I do. I ride along the Towpath which is adjacent to a canal, and there are tree roots occasionally that I have to go over. This item would come apart from the rack when that happens. I love this little bag - It confidently holds everything I need for a short day trip in Vermont. I love that I can stop my ride and quickly swivel around to unzip and get just what I need from the pack without having to dismount. It easily holds about 4 ample snacks, my cell phone, car keys, wallet, sunglasses and mini first aid kit without issue in a very neat, organized manner. The pack is solid and well made - the zippers are strong and the underbelly of the bag is sturdy plastic. This is a very well designed pack, but may be too small for some folks. I like the lace strapping on top for carrying an extra shirt or towel or bottle of water if needed. There are plenty of extra pockets and pouches for all my gear. This is a great pack, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have the bike rack system it's designed for. The clip in/out feature makes it very handy; however, I highly recommend that you have about 4" or so of seat post space to attach the rack, otherwise the bike seat will interfere with the installation. ... show more

    • Great bag, but won't fit if you've got a large seat.
The picture of this thing mounted with what looks like a larger than normal seat is a bit deceiving. I've got an extra large seat and I had to raise it up 4 or 5 inches just to get the back to lock onto the bracket. I've got another small racing seat that I'm going to eventually try out, but haven't swapped it out yet. I don't even know if I can ride my bike with the seat as high as I've got it right now. The bag is well made with lots of different pockets and holding areas. I can put 3 or 4 water bottles and some snacks in the main pouch with no problems, and I've got a "Fix-A-Flat" can in the tie down on top. ... show more
