    • Great value-if it worked
Update 8/26/22 I initially had the problem below, but the seller reached out to me immediately and offered to send me a replacement-which I accepted. That arrived within two days-and works great! The charger gauges work the way they are supposed to. I took a little over an hour and a half to charge the two new batteries, which were mostly empty. They both register at 100% in-camera, so that is great news. Looks a great alternative to the Olympus batteries. Either way-the seller was fantastic. Initial review I was so excited to finally find an after-market option to the the disaster that is the new Olympus BLX-1 battery issue for the new OM-1. First, the batteries are the slightest bit taller than the Olympus, so you have to press the battery door a little harder to close it. I'm not sure it that has the potential to cause a problem in the camera or not, but it is concerning that it is not exactly the same size. One of the two batteries charged almost to full. (stopped at 98%). The other stopped far lower, and did not retain it's charge while not in camera. My biggest concern is that the charger is defective. I put the the battery that had less charge back on the charger, along with the Olympus brand battery. It showed it was charging, but then just went to an empty battery icon. I switched it to the other chamber, and the same thing happened, so it appears that is a defective battery. I checked that multiple times and the same thing happened. I have yet to use the batteries, as I'm now afraid to trust them-so whether they last long or not I do not know. And, whether I just got a bad charger and batteries I also have no way of knowing-which is concerning, as they were bought for a trip out of the country in two weeks. ... show more

    • Good charger, lower capacity batteries than originals.
Like the title says the charger is fine but it turns out the batteries are lower capacity than the originals. They work but have to be charged more often. By the way the capacity is clearly listed. In the description. I just did no read it carefully. :).

    • A good addition to my OM camera
My OM camera came with one battery and a charging cable that connects to the camera. I'd rather keep shooting than tie the camera to a tether while the battery charges. The BATTS BLX-1 Battery and Dual Battery Charger better fit how I like to manage my batteries. The charger does not come with an adapter, but it plugs into any that supports iPhones and iPads using the included USB connector. You can also use the adapter and cable that came with your OM-1 to plug into the Dual Battery Charger.I've only used one of the batteries in the kit so far, but it performs equally well as the OM Systems supplied battery. ... show more

    • Only one battery of two worked, and that one wasn't great
I really, really wanted to like these batteries. But one of the batteries would not hold any charge at all, and the second battery was only good for maybe 1/3 to 1/4 of the shots of the OEM battery (200 vs 600-800 shots ,or 2 hours vs most of the day; didn't shoot any video). Yes it did provide a limited amount of backup power, and yes the charger did work for both the IBATTS batteries and my OEM battery, so I gave it 3 stars. In fact, I may reorder this again later just for the charger, even if the batteries aren't so great. But for now, I have returned the set. I contacted Amazon service when I first discovered the problem - maybe if I had contacted the seller instead this would have been resolved differently. Oh well. ... show more

    • Excellent batteries and compact charger
Purchased in September 2022 and took them with me on a one month trip to Africa. Both the batteries and charger worked well. The charger is much smaller than the OM systems charger which is a definite plus. I have had no problems whatsoever and continue to use them.

    • Good alternative to OEM battery
So far the batteries and charger work fine. The battery fit is snug compared to the OM System battery but it doesn't jam. The battery life is also a little less than the OM battery but not bad considering the price difference.
