  • fan frets
my son said the fan frets are great for progression

  • Beautiful looking bass that plays great.
I have been playing bass for over 20 years, and for the price of this bass, you are getting alot of bang for your buck. Starting with the appearance of the bass, the high gloss burl is amazing looking. This is a sleek, beautiful looking instrument, that could be at home in a stoner metal band, or a blues band. It is surprisingly light, compared to my Tobias it is a feather. The multi scale neck looks intimidating, but is not difficult to play at all. If you have any experience playing bass you will adjust to the neck easily. The multi scale system does seem to produce a tighter more defined B string, and you can tune the instrument very low. At this moment I have it tuned a whole step down, and it is still very defined. The pickups and electronics are acceptable, I choice this over several other multi scale basses due to it having passive pick ups, which I prefer for recording. Also, due to the multi scale tightening and evening of the lower registers, I feel that it still is capable of holding its ground playing live, and will not easily get lost in the mix. My only complaints with the instrument are minor. The stock strings are garbage, but I have never purchased an instrument that I didn't immediately put new strings on. I did have to adjust the action a bit, but I have had to do that for any instrument that I purchased online. Bottom line, for the money you are getting a beautiful bass that plays well. ... show more

  • AMAZING BASS!!
I was, like most people, a little sceptical about the multi scale neck. But I love it. It only took me about 30 seconds to get use to it and it feels and plays beautifully. Would highly recommend this bass.

  • Sweet bass
I was very pleasantly surprised how quickly I fell in love with this bass. The multi scale is super comfortable to play, nice tone...and light! She’s my new favorite.
