We wanted a back up for our built in camper AC. This was MUCH quieter. The vent hose was a little short, so we bought an extension, and are venting it through our ceiling hatch. The window vent kit didn't work because our camper windows have rounded corners and very narrow casements. We rigged up canvas fabric and Velcro to attach to the ceiling hatch, and poked the house through that. I could never sleep with the noise of the original AC. Update it's dead, didn't last 1 year. Aug 13, 2023 to May 21st 2024. RIP. I bought another identical AC (same manufacturer) June 2022 that works amazingly. This junk box hardly cools. You can tell it is massively undercharged. You can here the expansion valve triggering awkwardly gargling. Cycling between blowing lukewarm air and cold air. I expected better. ... show more
