So, this was an interesting collection to receive. I dropped ALL expectations on what I'd receive, and just go for that surprise result. And I was surprised. For the most part, fairly pleasantly. What I received were the following: Lapis Lazuli Amazonite (I was happy to get one. It was tiny, but grateful I got it!) Blue Quartz stones Possibly Blue Agate stones (blue lace maybe) Jade (most likely tumbled Jade with noticeable veins. Otherwise guess would be tumbled Aventurine, but a scruffy piece) Amethyst Clear Quartz White Quartz Bronzite Red Dolomite rose quartz red jasper (suspecting it is) Blue (with brown) Chalcedony Citrine Dalmatian stone Dendritic tree Agate (really cool looking. Stumped me at first, but a little research goes a long way) Possibly a brown Agate stone (but it's very murky, and difficult to identify; however, it does have a noticeable band on one side that leads me to lean towards agate. Stumped on this one). Anyway, I got a very good wide range of stones that are relatively in awesome shape and size. The rose Quartz is light, but rose quartz comes in a variety of pink shades, and these are adorably pink! The Amethyst are purple - again a little lighter than the typical deep hue we commonly associate it with, but there is a light purple amethyst, and these are gorgeously hued a beautiful tone. The red Dolomite stones - received 2 or 3 - were noticeably red with their distinctive markings / veins, but I wouldn't rule it out that I received several red Jasper. There is a noticeable neutral reddish/brown/purple stone that I am safely assuming is the actual red jasper (though, tumbled ruby? Maybe it's something else), but it is beautiful and adds to my collection well. I do recommend buying these - I recommend getting from size Medium and up, because you'll get more detail and tones, hues, and it's all very a good price. ... show more

I bought this product for a secret santa gift exchange, as my chosen recipient had asked for gemstones. The stones were enclosed in a simple, plastic zip bag. I would have preferred a slightly nicer bag for the gift, but the stones were pretty and came in a decent variety. My coworker was delighted to receive them and was able to identify most, but was excited to research what the others were. She said they were the perfect size to hold or even fit inside the spiral wire cage of her necklace. Overall, she was happy with her gift, so my mission was accomplished :). ... show more

I ordered this bag of Medium stones and a bag of XXL size stones for some stone carving experiments, and if you want the real deal, these are it. Some of you may read my review title and think "Yeah, they are real rocks. How observant of you." The reason I bother to specify that is, when I was shopping for rocks, I saw several listings for tumbled rocks, only to read their reviews and see customers complaining that the "rocks" were just pieces of hardened, polished resin! I mentioned I got these for a carving experiment....I'm trying my hand at decorative rock carving, and wanted to try carving then sanding then polishing tumbled, polished rock for unique carvings, since many simple grab a rough rock and carve it. I've only carved a few of these so far, but the ones I've carved do reveal mineral formations that I don't think would show up in resin. As for calling these gems, I only got a few pieces of quartz, so don't be mislead into thinking they're valuable gems. That being said, all of the rocks are beautifully polished and look great. Given the price though, I won't be buying more of these. Should I decide to pursue polished rock carving further, I'll buy or build my own tumbler and tumble my own rocks. I bought this pack and a pack of smaller rocks chiefly because it's cheaper than buying a tumbler that I may have only used once. So, if you want these, again, they are real rocks. They might have creases, scratches, dents and the like that the tumbling media just couldn't polish away. If that's a problem for you, maybe resin pieces will work better. While I won't be buying these again, I don't regret getting them. These two bags of rocks saved me weeks of time, literally, and as I said, if I decide tumbling rocks for carving is too much of a bother, then having bought these two bags was less expensive than if I had bought a tumbler that ends up not getting used. ... show more

We wanted these for Easter, but I forgot to order them in time. Instead, I have been hiding these in my 5 year old's sand box. They are very beautiful. My son gets so excited every time he finds one, he thinks that he just found "real treasure" So cute!

I received my stones yesterday and i am Very happy. They came very quickly in the mail and were secured in a nice & tight bubble wrap packaging. I received a great variety of crystals such as Amethyst, Jade, Sodalite, Adventurine, Variscite, Obsidian, Red Jasper, Clear quartz just to name a few (I havent finished identifying the rest). I love, Love, LOVE that they are 100% natural and not artificial. These will be great to use for magick and meditation after I charge them under the moon. I would recommend these to anyone looking for crystals. I will Definitely be purchasing more! ... show more

So they aren’t a terrible set and while a little on the small side of their 1-1.5” width(?) it’s not terrible. However, the bag and description states 25 stones. I got 22. That puts the average cost per stone higher than if I had gone to my local store and grabbed 2 small fill your bag at $5 each. Also, these are C grade polished at best. Most stones are cracked, pitted, and color is bad. For putting in Easter eggs for kids it’s not bad. These are not jewelry quality though. I would not bother if your plan is to sell jewelry made from them. Hypnotic Gems, if you put in your description that it’s 25 stones. Make sure it contains 25 stones. If you are selling by weight that’s different. ... show more
