I had a VW nearly identical to this one while in the army stationed in Germany. I bought this more for sentimental reasons and was delighted when I received it. Nice detail and finish. Very sturdy. A great value!

I bought this car as gift for a friend. It represents the exact year, model and color of his car. He was transferring form college in NYC to Provo, Utah. He and myself & 1 other friend decided to make the road trip from NYC to Utah. Greatest trip ever. So this toy is purely sentimental.

Got this for my daughter who just got her license and wants a beetle bug so bad she could spit. So I got her this one. She loves it but knows she will have to get a job and buy her own to drive. It’s a nice sturdy metal car and the doors open. You can pull it back and it will roll downed but it was great for her “first” car. It looks like it’s a stick shift from the inside but she would only drive an automatic. ... show more
