Since this is a powerful solution, soaking jewelry with the stones listed above for long periods of time might actually remove some of the natural oils from the stones. Very impressed with how well this works with just a quick dip and rinse in water. Cleaned a whole collection of sterling and other metal jewelry that hadn’t been touched in years. After a few items came out so great I took some before and after pictures. Items with precious stones I hand dipped just the silver tips so it didn’t touch the stones. I tried silver cleaning paste and it wasn’t great, but this dip is just fabulous. Transformed my silver jewelry and I’m finally wearing it all again. Literally takes under 30 seconds and then rinse in warm water and wipe.

In the past I've used cream cleaners. I have sterling silver Christmas ornaments. took them to two different jewelers for cleaning. One said no, we don't do that. The other wanted $180.00 for 18 pieces. Came home ordered this and all 18 pieces are sparkling like new and for the larger pieces I just poured the solution in a bowl to accommodate the size.
