This stuff really works but please read the label and know what you are getting yourself into. I combined this with a sonic cleaner, didn’t read the info in the beginning and caused several gems to fall out of a pair of earrings.

Turns out, I can't read. This is no surprise. I didn't realize this was for ultrasonic cleaners. I used it anyway, but let it soak 10 minutes in a glass jar and jiggled the water every couple of minutes. They're probably not as clean as they would be with an ultrasonic cleaner, but the amount of gunk that came off and renewed shine is worth me now looking at buying the cleaner too.
