I had a rhinoplasty and started taking the Arnica pills 2 days prior to surgery. I took 2 at a time as directed. On the day of my surgery, after surgery was complete, I did not notice ANY bruising at all. Approximately 2 days after my surgery, I did notice very small, light, minimal yellow bruising, but only left side of my face. It was hardly noticeable. I kept taking the Arnica pills up until 2 days after my splint was removed. These seem to have a major affect on reducing/eliminating bruising and I've been very pleased with them. As far as pain relief, I do not feel it had any effect, but it's also hard to tell because I was also taking stronger pain medicine. However, I would not have been able to take this alone for pain management for a rhinoplasty. Swelling - seemed to have minimal affect. The tip of my nose was majorly swollen in the beginning but it did seem to go down fairly quickly, given the circumstances. By the time I went to my doctor's office to have my stitches and splint removed, the nurses and doctor commented on how I wasn't bruised at all and how less swollen I looked compared to other cases. Overall, I would recommend this for bruising and swelling but would have to look more into from a pain relief aspect. ... show more

I have had unrelieved pinky toe pain for months to the point it wakes me up in the middle of the night and makes it unbearable to drive without taking pain meds. I have been a faithful user of Hyland homeopathic sublingual pills for years — and they work great for restless legs and leg cramps — but unfortunately these pain pills have not had an effect, even 2 at a time.
