I used this stuff for getting my septum pierced. I have a very low pain tolerance and applied this to the septum area inside the nose for about half an hour before getting the procedure done. It worked beautifully, I didn't even yell this time lol. It obviously doesn't numb all the way through but definitely takes the edge off and for me I think it was perfect for helping with the pain. Not sure why all the internet says to not use it for septum piercings specifically, as I have lived to tell the tale and 1000% do not regret using it. My body didn't have a bad reaction to the cream, the piercing healed fine, it didn't hinder the piercing process, no swelling after, etc. I probably wouldn't have got it done without this stuff. I definitely recommend it for septum piercings! (Just be sure to wipe off all the cream from the piercing location before going inside the shop) ... show more

So I tried it for my laser hair removal appointment for both underarms and full bikini (which hurts like h ell) and I did not feel pain, like you still feel the laser doing its job but no pain, I was so relieved since the place I go to wanted me to pay $56! For their numbing cream, $56 for one bottle is crazy and they told me it last for up to 3 treatments… no thanks, I’m in my touch up era so that won’t be needed when I have this now, instead of wrapping paper though I do use Saniderm, which Tattoo artist use for healing tattoos and it’s so much better to put on top of the numbing cream bc it’s not messy and I fee it makes the numbness stronger, also applied like icing no rubbing in, but this worked so great and saved me money!! ... show more

I've been getting two tattoos removed over the last ten months, at sessions around 10-12 weeks apart. The pain is far worse than any pain associated with getting a tattoo (in various areas.) Tattoo laser removal feels like a rubber band snapping over sunburn poisoned skin but the rubber band is also on fire and was breathed on by gremlins first. It is really as incredibly painful as everyone says it is. This numbing cream does actually work to ease that pain. Some of the laser frequencies I literally cannot even feel. I apply an hour and 15 minutes before the session and cover with plastic wrap. 20 Minutes later I wipe it off with a paper towel and then reapply and rewrap. I have thin skin and bleed easy so it’s hard for me to find a numbing cream that lasts 2+ hours. I’ve used TKTX, Dr Numb , painless tattoo products and let me tell you this one works better way better than painless tattoo products and Dr. Numb. The TKTX green is the best one it’s hard to get cause it usually comes from china and sometimes you’ll get fake ones but the real deal it would numb me for 6+ hours on different areas of body. The Ebanel 520 is my runner up it numbs good and lasts an average of 1-2 hours and the price is actually great compared to others cause you get 1.35oz for <$20 5% lidocaine which is same as a prescription. I 110% recommend this product. Couple of pointers from an avid user take a very hot quick shower with steam to get your pores opened up before you apply and apply it like this- dab small amounts around area where your getting tattooed. Rub that in like lotion. Then use as much as you have and really ice the cake like 1/8” thick and do not rub it in dab it all over area. Cover with wrap asap and keep it on for at least 2 hrs. It won’t hurt anything the longer you keep it on the deeper it will soak into skin let the tattoo artist clean off the area before tattoo and enjoy a numb experience. If you bleed it will wear off quickly so if your tattoo artist is real heavy handed this product won’t work good for you get the green tktx for absolutely no pain for hours. Don’t waste your money on painless tattoo cream or anything that’s 4%. It won’t work. ... show more

I was recommended by someone ! I don’t know if it was how I use it but I felt every bit of my tattoos , I read the bottle before applying it and waited and mind you this isn’t my first tattoo I have one on my neck that I gotten without numbness and this felt the same way , this cream got so many good recommendations and good reviews so I don’t know how to feel about it , I still have it a 3 just because but I honestly don’t know how to feel about it , so many people told me how good it was and I haven’t seen one bad reviews but I felt every bit of my tattoos it hurted so bad 😭😭😭 ... show more

I was so paranoid about this cream approaching my 1st tattoo appointment, on whether it was going to work or not. Im still shocked & it’s only a day after. This stuff works AMAZING, like omg i could talk all day about this cream. I felt absolutely NOTHING, except for the inner leg bc i didn’t put cream there. I wrapped it, put two coats & it worked great. My artist doesn’t use cream, & said it would only last 10 mins but he was soo wrong. I found no glass in it either, & i will forever use this cream now for all my future tattoos. All i felt was vibration, & i had to fix the stencil twice & my leg was still numb for atleast two hours after. It also kicked in fairly fast for me, at least 15 minutes. Now this has the same 5% as others but this works GREAT. I use it for microneedling and anyone that says it does not hurt, must enjoy pain because it does hurt, alot. This cream was a game changer. My entire face was numb and I felt nothing and it lasted a good hour or more so I had plenty of time. All creams are not the same.
