The X2 provides the option to add Wi-Fi capabilities for total remote management and advanced water-saving features using Hunter’s industry-leading Hydrawise smart irrigation technology. With X2, you can keep the familiar dial-based programming style offered by X-Core. If you upgrade your X2 to Wi-Fi control with a simple, plug-in WAND module, programming is familiar, fast, and easy thanks to a helpful setup wizard using a smartphone or desktop device. Hydrawise maximizes water savings by automatically adjusting irrigation schedules based on local weather conditions. X2 ensures healthy, green landscapes to make site management more convenient and profitable in routine installations. You can quickly set irrigation schedules and manage an unlimited number of controllers with real- time controller status updates.

Installed the 3 piece Hunter system, timer, Rain Sensor, antenna sensor. Took me a good hour. System is not intuitive at all. Couldn’t even find my Network. I had to manually enter it. Make sure you take picture of serial number on chip for setup & rebate. Everything worked great when I installed 3 days ago. Then my internet went down for 30 minutes & it did not connect back to router 10 feet away. You would think it would be smart enough to get me back to running but nope. After trying to set up all over again several times & it still would not work. I finally deleted the app. & reinstalled it, took me through the entire set up process all over again. It finally worked but could not remember basic items like password & internet name. This took me about 3 hours of trouble shooting & it ends up being the app? What a disappointment. Then the rain sensor disabled the watering program & app. does not tell me why. Should say rain or forecast or some identifier. So I had to trouble shoot that to insure it was still paired & connected to controller found out it was forecast. No customer service phone number available for problems. I had to email & they said they would respond in 24 hours. Very disappointed, what a joke. Absolutely no customer service in a timely matter. ... show more
