oh, this product is absolutely amazing! I have a tattoo on my forearm, so it is always exposed, and easily dried out during the healing process. Hustle butter saved me! Pros: 1) it smells delicious. It is always nice to have a product that smells good, but even better to have one that smells good because it is made of natural products that are safe and amazing. oh,and it is truly wonderful to not smell like A&D while healing. 2) for more than just your tattoo. I won't lie, this little jar goes a LONG way. I still have about 3/4 of my tub left. My tattoo is text - about the width of my ulna, and goes the full length from my wrist to my elbow. I used this several times per day for 3 weeks, and now I still use it on dry skin, my lips, etc. It is simply awesome. I may buy more at the end just to have it because I love it, and so does my 5 year old. It is a product I can feel good about using on either of us. 3) it did seem to speed up healing. I have had two tattoos and used A&D the first time, and this the second time. The experience was quite different. This helped with itching - I had virtually none, but was light, and soaked into the skin easily. I LOVE hustle butter, and I think it is worth getting - even if you don't get a tattoo. I’ve tried 4 other aftercare balms/lotions including the infamous After Inked over the years and Hustle Butter is by far is my favorite. It is definitely greasy feeling when you first apply it but the best healing balms are. It does settle in more after a few minutes thankfully and provides hydration for hours. I’ve used it on healing tattoos before going to metal concerts and didn’t need to reapply until after the show for example. Ive personally noticed differences in my tattoos and their healing when I’ve used this vs other products. And the scent is nice-not too strong-a nice little treat for your nose while you’re doing something mundane like tattoo aftercare. It also doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I think it’s an awesome tool to have in your “tattoo aftercare toolbox”. That said, I do not use this on healed tattoos. It’s a little too intense for my preferences. I use lighter products for my more senior tattoos. I did recently give their newer lotion a try though and like that for post healing/aftercare. Recommended by my tattoo artist, this stuff went on a little lumpy as it’s made from coconut oil, but once it warms in your hands it feels good on new tattoos. It can feel a little greasy (again it’s coconut oil) so keep that in mind.

Even in the show Ink Masters they use this stuff. I’ve tried different topicals for my ink and this is by far the best. Smells great, easily spread, goes right into the skin so it’s not all gooey, and a little goes a long ways so this little thing will last you a while. I got this specifically for a leg tattoo that's color. It's really helped to keep it moisturized and keep the color bright and vibrant. This also has a nice smell to it and doesn't take a lot to cover a large area. I will definitely be getting more once this one runs out.
