The media could not be loaded. I’m not real experienced when it comes to a speed bag. It’s something I want to get good at, so I decided to build this and use this bag and swivel. It was really easy to install and seems to do the job. As I progress, I might want to get a more advanced swivel.

    • Good speed bag, uniform and true. To fill an air bag, spit on the needle before inserting needle.
The media could not be loaded. I always use a double jointed swivel for smooth response of bag to avoid the problem of swivel possibly sticking when hitting bag hard. I replaced the swivel that came with bag for a top of the line swivel and saw no change in response. Surprisingly the swivel that comes will bag worked flawlessly. ... show more

    • Bladder valve failure
The bladder valve started slow leaking less than a year in with light use (2-3 times per week). Just over 2 years of light use and the bladder valve failed completely, separating from the outer shell and tearing in half. As far as I can tell by the way this is constructed, the inner bladder is not replaceable. Outer leather shell held up well though.
