I'm a mid-30s female, started 2020 at 240lbs, have since gained another 40 over the course of a year. I have a road bike but the lighter frame and tires only the width of a dime I felt like I was going to make it collapse. So I wanted something with a sturdier frame and wider wheels and one where I could sit more upright, hence I started looking at cruisers. This is one of the few that has all the features I was looking for -hand pull brakes (NOT a pedal brake) -7-speed -wide solid frame -wide tires -upright position -wide comfy seat -rear cargo carrier -front basket After having it 3 weeks one probably gone around 15 miles total on it, and some.od the features I wasnt looking for but absolutely love: -soft padded handle grips that come in a woodgrain pattern -handle bars are wide but not at wide as some other cruisers I've ridden where wide handlebars make turning difficult AMD awkward -fenders kept pants from getting totally wet and muddy if the weather is bad -reflector on rear fender -springs on the seat-make riding over a pothole less painful! -IT HAS A CUPHOLDER! AND A BOTTLE OPENER! Mostly excited about the cupholder, it's nice to take a short leisurely ride and sip a glass of sweet tea -white frame-while I was hoping for a more colorful frame, turns out the white makes you more visible at night Cons: Putting it together was difficult but not impossible, however mine had an issue with shifting smoothly between gears so I took it into REI and they were able to fix it and show me some.other things that would have helped when I was putting it together. Even if you put it together yourself I'd recommend taking it in after 50 miles or so. -Won't fit traditional bike carriers like the ones that hook into the trailer hitch and the bike rests on bars that go through the frame -To do use it with an upright carrier on a car with a roof rack, when you remove the front wheel you must also remove the fender -the basket is small and the leather straps holding it to the bike are cheap, ove already ordered a different basket, there are a ton of options Overall I am so pleased with this bike! I'm getting out of the house every day, losing about 4 lbs a week and saving on gas $$ because I can bike to the grocery store! It's just a sturdy, fun, good bike! ... show more

This bike is beautiful. My daughter loves it. I got it for her for Christmas. I can't say how great it was dealing with huffy. The wicker basket was was cracked and broken when we unpacked it. I called huffy the next day and gave them the info from the bike and they shipped the replacement immediately. It got here 2 days before Christmas and she was none the wiser. I recently bought this bike for my wife. She has ridden it a few times around our neighborhood on the street and sidewalks, and this morning we came to find the tire completely flat. I have read other have had issues with the tires. Not sure if they are just a really poor quality tube, but she was far from riding rough with this thing. Its still a very nice bike for the price, and if my biggest issue is spending $12 on a replacement tube, I can live with that. She loves the bike as well. ... show more

This bike is so beautiful and sturdy. I ride about a mile to work everyday and this bike makes my short commute super comfortable. I love having the little basket for carrying necessities and the bike goes fast enough to make my ride only about 7 minutes long. 2nd bike I bought from Amazon with pedal crank bearing issue. The first was an Aceger and after 5 months, the pedal crank assembly literally fell apart. This time, I thought I would go with a trusted brand, I brand I had when I was little. When I pulled everything out of the box, I saw 2 bearings at the bottom. After my experience with the last bike, I figured I would check the pedal assembly to make sure it looked good. When I took it apart, the bearings were bent and missing 2 balls. How on earth it gets packed like that, I have no clue other than laziness and blatant disregard for quality. I had to manually fix the bearings on this brand new bike and then add more grease, since they went really cheap on that as well. What has happened to the craftsmanship standard? Does Huffy and Amazon simply not care what these factories in China spit out and call a “product”? Will never buy another bike from Amazon or Huffy. ... show more

My daughter absolutely loves riding this bike. In the past she struggling with biking, as she is very short for her age. The bikes that fit her were typically very childish and not up to her ability. This bike is simple to assemble and easy to use. No gears or hand brakes to worry with. The basket is a cute addition. She likes to carry either a bluetooth radio or a stuffed animal with her when she rides. I only gave this 4 stars for value for money because I always want something a little cheaper, of course. Buyers Be Ware: I happen to be handy, I have my own tools and know how to swap a tire onto a new rim and can put a bike together. The bike comes partially assembled. It comes with a universal tool (in standard measurement) the problem is; this bikes' assembly parts (nuts and bolts) are METRIC, not standard. The tool provided, even if they were in the correct sizes, would not be sufficient. Real tools required. NOTE TO FACTORY: The person on the assembly line that installed the rear wheel assembly should have their power tools confiscated. The rear axle bolt and nut were both cross threaded and over torqued to compensate for the cross threading. NOT SAFE and NOT acceptable for my (or anyone else's') 10 year old. The company customer service department for the seller was great! They immediately shipped out a new rear wheel assembly and fender flares (which were bent up, probably during shipping). With a little extra work or a bike shop near by you'll be good with this purchase. Prepare for an extra week for extra parts delivery. Then assemble properly and enjoy.
