The pics in my review are the results used on a 1997 Ford Ranger with original paint. No, this colored wax is not going to cover all of your scratches, but that's not its intended purpose. It did however, do a nice job on the micro cracking on my 26 year old paint. I didn't use a mechanical buffer... I simply used a cloth diaper to apply it and buffed it off with a dry towel.     • Easy to use, but didn't cover very light scratches well at all
Nice and easy to apply and wipe off, looked great the day I did it, but a few days later it appeared that the rain washed away any of the red that was hiding the minor scratches in my paint. I'll give it another coat in hopes it lasts longer. I've used other brands that worked wonderful, but not red. Mostly darker colors ... show more

This isn't anything heavy duty so don't think it will erase scratches and similar marks that a body shop would handle. But it does give some color to light smudges or markings.
