Features

  • 9BB CELLS FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE- HQST 400 watt solar panel adopts the industry-leading 9 busbars technology, which reduces the risk of microcracks. Compared with 5BB cells solar panel, it has a better longer lifespan. 9BB 400w solar panel can also reduce the working temperature by around 2C/ 35.6F to improve the module's performance.
  • 22-23% CONVERSION EFFIENCY- HQST 400 watt monocrystalline solar panels increase the light-receiving area and offer 22-23% conversion efficiency, which is higher than most conventional solar cells. Our 12V 400w solar panel provides up to 500Wh of electricity per day in 5 hours of direct sunlight.
  • BETTER LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE- Bypass diode minimizes power drop caused by shadows, eliminates hot spots, and ensures excellent performance in low light environments. It keeps solar panels working even if some solar cells are accidentally damaged. The mono panel is constructed from high-purity silicon Class A cells, coated with advanced encapsulation materials and multi-layer sheet lamination to enhance cell performance and provide long-lasting durability.
  • BUILT TO THE LAST- Anti-reflective, high transparency, low iron tempered glass with enhanced stiffness and impact resistance. IP65 rated junction box and MC4 connectors give you the freedom to worry about water splashes and rain. Corrosion-resistant aluminum frame provides extended outdoor use, ensuring panels will last for decades. Heavy snow loads of 5400 Pa and strong winds of 2400 Pa provide excellent durability in harsh environments.

  • this $70 panel beats Renogy's output..
Size: 2PCs
Update 1: I'm adding 4 more HQST 100w panels to my array of 12 renogy & 4 HQST panels: my 16 panels produce ~80amps on a clear day, enuf to run two small, 500w each, air conditioners from 10am to 4pm ( peak sun hrs): that's about 5000wh ... on days of heavy clouds i get only 1200wh of power. the Renogy panels have a little more aluminum, deeper, in the frame. my panels are on the ground; i made legs out of PVC: cost of less < $5/panel...at 20 panels, when the new HQST arrive, my batteries (2 12v 100amps) are maxed out & will need an upgrade: larger systems need to run at higher voltages to maximize cable efficiency. A good battery sys is needed to harness the energy of the sun: this last year lithium batt have come way down in price. The inexpensive HQST 12v 100w Solar Panels outperformed the Renogy 12v 100w panels on Sunny days, but the Renogy produced more power on cloudy days, that is, in low light conditions: see the stats below. HQST (4 panels) Renogy (6 panels) both use Renogy Wnd 30 Total Watts/day 1532 / 4 = 383w/p 1810 / 6 = 301w/p Sun May 2 Watts per Panael W/p 517 / 4 = 130w/p 863 / 6 = 144w/p Mon May 3 313 / 4 = 78w/p 414/ 6 = 69w/p tues may 4 300 / 4 = 75w/p 700 / 6 = 117w/p Wed may 5 1368 / 4 = 342w/p 1850 /6 = 308w/p thur may 6 fri may 7: 1760w/4p= 440w/p HqST 2067w/6p= 344w/p renogy sat may 8: 1733w/4p= 433w/p hqst 2006w/6p= 334w/p renogy sun may 9: same as sat mon may 10: 1280w/4p= 320w/p hqst 1750w/6= 292w/p renogy The test conditions were not perfect. I placed two strings of panels next to each other (4 HQST, 6 Renogy) each controlled by a Renogy Wanderer 30amp pwm controller; panels in parallel i recorded the watts registered by the Wanderer Controller each day. I live 30 minutes south of Chicago and I'm lucky to get 60wats peak from a panel & a lot of trees around ... show more

  • Solid panels.
Size: 9BB 1Pc
I own a few of the 5 bus bar versions of this panel and the physical dimensions are one of my favorite. So, when we got our EcoFlow Delta (1000) I knew where to look for panels to build the array that would power it. I'm using 3x 100W panels on series, so voltage is around 60-62V at just over 5Amps current (EcoFlow's input is 65V, 10Amps MAX) and have them mounted on the front porch's roof, at only a slight incline. During sunny days I have (at times) seen OVER 300W and attribute that to the MPPT charge controller in the Delta. They begin producing power as early as 7am, and will continue to produce (some) power until 730 or 8pm. I'm definitely happy with my purchase, and will not hesitate to purchase more when the time comes. ... show more

  • Inexpensive
Size: 9BB 1Pc
If you're sitting on the fence wondering whether you should buy solar panels or not, get off the fence as fast as you can. With a massive heat Wave running around the country and electrical grid that's going to go down eventually having at least three or 400 watts of power is something every home should have. I bought mine strictly for emergency as I need oxygen at night and one unit will keep batteries charged to keep my oxygen concentrator going. We had a 6-hour power outage and it was nice to have lights. ... show more

  • Great panel for the price
Size: 9BB 1Pc
Product was as described. It was very well packaged and showed up early. This is a 100 Watt panel and it often will push as much as 92 watts on a good sunny day. I'd recommend this panel to anyone anytime.

  • Best of the low cost several I tested
Size: 2PCs
I was constrained on dimensions for an RV rooftop install. HQST, Newpowa, and Werchtay were the brands I tested. I had existing Renogy flexible panels 2-3 years old to compare. Results on a near optimal sun day with proper aiming with a decent MPPT controller: HQST: 90w Newpowa: 80w Werchtay: 70w [control] Renogy 100w flexible (2-3 yrs old): 75w +/- 1-2 watts. Needless to say, I was only impressed with the HQST. ... show more

  • Great Value!
Size: 1Pc
Tested it about 10:30 am, easily putting out 90+ watts without struggling to set it up. For $70 I call that a win! Ordering another to make a solar briefcase.

  • Great
Size: 4Pcs
These panels are great for the money, they screwed up my order and then customer service messed me around for about a month, but they finally got their act together after some threats.
