I ordered the HQMaster spiral 1/8” up and down CNC bit with ¼” shank for carving on my Shapeoko 4 Pro. I have been busy carving some Santa face trays out of walnut and maple and needed some quality bits. I used this 1/8” up and down bit to router out the Santa face inside of the pocket that had already been cut with a different bit. There was a slight amount of ragged edge which was easily knocked off with some sandpaper but this is normal with this type of bits. After several carves this bit appeared to stay very sharp and doesn’t seem to have been dulled by the hard woods as some bits tend to be. Overall, I rate this bit as very good quality. ... show more
