  • Tough and precise
Used this to route a 3/16" deep circle in 1/2" plywood to hold a lexan insert. The downward cut minimized tear-out of the plywood's veneer finish making a really neat job of the of the edges. The bit didn't show any signs of wear or over heating even after more than 200 inches of routing. With down cut bits there's always concern about clearing cut material especially with one as narrow as this 1/8" bit, but at this depth it had no problem ejecting the saw dust - no burning noticeable throughout the entire cut. Excellent router bit! ... show more

  • Broke 1st time using it....
Worked well until it broke. Very nice lines, no fibers. Used it to just cut some letters out of MDF. Did well cutting perimeter of letters. Tip snapped when it did the interior of an “A.”

  • cheap break it little cost
Using on CNC. It using on CNC on Oak run it slow around 40fpm at .05 depth. If oak has knots slow down to 30 fpm at .03 depth. If not bit will break very easy. On pine and other soft wood 60fmp at .06 anything faster then that bit will break. Got couple from amazon and lasted about 8 hours of use. Lowes 1/8 bits will last 20 times longer then these bits for three dollars more ... show more

  • clean cut for rosette on sound board
I used this to cut out my rosette on a classical guitar soundboard, engelmann spruce. It was a super clean cut and allowed me to sneak up on the outer and inner diameter of the rosette. Very pleased with the results and clean cutting capability of this bit.

  • Clean cuts
I used this bit to cut hard maple on my CNC Router. The cuts were clean with no fuzz on the top of grooves. The bit arrived on time and worked well.

  • Cuts great
This bit exceeded my expectations. I seed It for cutting grooves and dados. It gave a very clean cut and removed most of the chips.

  • Good value
This bit solved a broken I was having with tearout. I’m not giving it a rating for durability because I’ve only done test cuts to make sure it will work. I’m sure it will be fine.

  • Not bad, wish they were a little longer.
For the price the router bits a pretty good. They don’t cut as clean as some of the higher priced ones, but overall the quality is pretty good. The only issues ran into was the length was a little short for my CNC machine so I couldn’t cut as deep as I would have liked.
