This was what I needed at a decent price. Everything worked as expected. I tried it out and could run my lamp 3 nights plus charge my phone and kindle. That is what I was looking for, for the occasional power outage. 300 W is not enough to run appliances, hairdryers, etc. It's enough to charge your devices and provide you light. I like that this was easy to use right out of the box. It came with a regular plug adapter as well as a car charger which is perfect for me in Houston with preparing for hurricane season. We recently had a lot of power outages and were without power for almost a week. This prompted me to purchase this to be ready for the next storm. I tried it out a few times this week and it has worked great! The battery life was excellent. The weight is manageable for transporting back and forth and carrying with you. We purchased this chargeable light for outdoor events, and at first, we were impressed with how well it performed. After fully charging the lights for the first event, they worked wonderfully, providing the bright, reliable lighting we needed. Unfortunately, after that initial use, the lights stopped charging altogether. Despite following the instructions and trying multiple charging methods, we couldn't get them to hold a charge again. I bought this to take camping to charge devices and fill an air mattress! It worked flawlessly and battery lasted from Friday to Sunday when we packed up. By the time we left it still had about 30% battery. I also used it to keep a BT speaker running all weekend and a fan for when it was time to go to bed. I didnt keep it going all weekend as I do t think it would of lasted that long. I'll purchase the solar panels next so I'll be able to charge it out on the go. ... show more

This thing was worth every cent. I have used it when for 2 hurricanes to run my CPAP machine when the power goes out. It has enough battery to run it all night and still have 60% charge. I charge it during the day with a generator. It is not very heavy so it's easy to carry, about the size of a car battery but much much lighter. I like it has a meter to tell you how much power something is drawing from it so it's a good way to test the power consumption of things. I found out my 50 watt fan is actually 90 watts.     • Charger got too hot to handle
I liked this item a lot. It looks nice, is easy to carry and works well. It is under- powered for my needs but I would have kept it because it works so well. The problem was that the charger got so hot that I couldn’t hold it in my hand. I was afraid it might melt down and start a fire. Maybe just a problem with the unit I received. ... show more
