After researching numerous hoverboards, we settled on this one for my 8-year-old. Straight out of the box, she was able to hop on and start riding—no assembly necessary! She was able to quickly figure out how to balance herself on it and it’s very stable while riding. However, the board beeps when getting on and off, which can become bothersome over time. I rate this one because zero wasn’t an option. We bought this item and it did not work at all. Amazon exchanged, and the second unit was exactly the same. Would not charge and would not work. Buy this product at your own RISK. The mfg doesn’t care and it has a very short warranty.
