These work well for children but if you are working with developmentally disabled adults you should use super glue or gorilla glue to attach them to refirgerators and cabinets that you do not want them to open. I had a 175 lb adult pull down on a cable and remove the lock from a refirgerator door. Otherwise, the locks hold the cables in place firmly and work well, the length of the cable is good for wrapping around corners of appliances and cabinet knobs. ... show more

I am teacher and needed a way to lock my file cabinets, lock broke, and these does the job. The tape is 3M so it is strong. It is very easy to install. It seems to last...It is easy to open and it brings a set of keys.

I purchased these keys to prevent opening of cradenza/bookcase doors instead of replacing the locking mechanism. Very easy to install. I suggest closing the door or the drawer, then opening slighly then applying the locking mechanism to the different sides of the door or drawer you are trying to secure. Opening slightly just prior to adding the locks allow you to be able to more easily secure the doors or drawers without it being perfectly closed.
