I like how easy these are to install. I installed a few on the seam of the door and they wouldn't work. I went through the trouble shooter and found they have to be level. Once I did that they work great. I was a little nervous about installing them at first but after watching the video and having the piece to line everything up (which was included) it was super easy. I have to start by saying I have only installed one so far and it seems that it will work perfectly with some trial and error. I love that the catch can be installed right to the edge cabinet face without affecting the door shutting all of the way. My cabinet doors are about 1.25in thick where I stuck the device and the magnet works no problem. I would highly recommend testing that the latch opens and closes before sticking it in place. When I originally stuck the device, it opened just fine with the magnet, but the lock would not return to the lock position. I figured it was just a faulty unit so I stuck a different one on. Same issue. After much frustration I came to the conclusion that something in that part of my cabinet doors must be magnetic (near the handle) because when moving the device about 0.5 inches in either direction the latch magically returns to the lock position and it works perfectly. I did a test pull and it worked. I then put it through more "intense" durability testing as I figured it would take a while to get used to having these installed and I'd most likely be yanking on these before grabbing the magnet. The sticky tape would not hold up to my brute man strength. I will mention though that I was being lazy and didn't use the alcohol wipes prior to sticking so there's a great chance the surface was just not clean. Either way, I never really intended to trust adhesive tape in a safety related application so I'll be shooting screws into all of the locks/latches. I'd give 5 stars if they used 3M tape, but they didn't. The fact that the lock can be bypassed easily is extremely convenient when working in the kitchen and was the main reason I chose these. Very durable and so much easier to use than the plastic locking ones you get at Walmart. Amazing value for the money. I am able to open my cabinets effortlessly with the key which is perfect to keep my baby out of the cabinets.

My toddler gets into just about EVERYTHING. These made it so easy to keep her out of our cabinets. Very easy for us to open with the magnet. And such a great price as well. They were super easy to install and they fit our cabinets perfectly. Our toddler pulls of the cabinets very hard and they have proven very durable against her tugging.
