The media could not be loaded. I've had powered screwdrivers for decades, and they never really have great torque or life. Now with the advent of lithium batteries, they have great torque and long life...but the quality has gone down. Not with this one. This is a very high quality tool. Opening it up, I was struck by the packaging - much nicer than your usual imported fare. It contained a box with quite a few different screwdriver bits in it. Then there was a large tube - this is the tubular carrying case. It is made of blue tinted aluminum with a rubber carry strap. This is a carrying case you will want to hang on to, it's very nice! Twist the case to unlock it, and inside is the screwdriver, along with a bunch more bits. I suppose you can pick and choose from the bits in the box along with what was in the screwdriver case as to which ones you want to carry in the case permanently. The screwdriver itself is minimalist: a USB-C charging port, a locking collar that turns it off or sets one of three different torque levels, and a small light built into the end that illuminates whatever you're working on. There is a rubberized button on the side that when pressed, runs the screwdriver forwards or backwards. The torque provided by this thing is pretty amazing, far beyond what I expected. I can't say how long the battery lasts, as I have run it for quite a while now and it still works as if it is fully charged. Honestly, my only complaint is that the screwdriver itself could benefit from having a more "grippy" surface to hang on to, particularly given the torque it is capable of producing. I may wrap mine with some silicone tape to do just this. Other than that, it's a very high quality tool, lasts a really long time on a charge, has great torque, very well made with thoughtful storage case, and is highly recommended! My go to powered screwdriver for years has been a Black & Decker model with 2 cylindrical batteries that were charged in a separate charger. I’ve been down to one working battery and the run time on the remaining battery has been dropping. I’ve been unsuccessfully looking for a similar replacement but decided to try this one, and I’m very glad I did. The build quality is top notch and flawless. Everything fits together like a glove. I was able to top off the charge using a standard USB-C cable that is always hooked up to charge my phone. This is big for me because I refuse to use products if I have to keep track of yet another special cable for recharging. The three settings on the side are for torque and not for speed. This is the same as the torque settings on a large cordless drill. When I set it to 1 to assemble another product it stopped turning when the screw bottomed out on the plastic housing thus not stripping the plastic hole. Setting it on 1 to screw a 1.5”, #8 screw into a 2x4 without a pilot hole and it drove it in maybe 1/4” before stopping. I then set it to 2 and that drove it in maybe another 1/2”. I then set it to 3 and this time it drove it all the way into the board. That is some nice torque for a screwdriver this small. The light is not very bright but the B&D model didn’t even have one so it’s not something I’m relying on. If I could change anything about this screwdriver would be to add some kind of texturing or groove lines that will help in getting a better grip when those high torque situations arise. ... show more

    • Outstanding electric screwdriver with great torque and wide assortment of bits
This is without a doubt the best electric screwdriver I have ever owned. It is what I like to call feature rich. With 3 levels of torque, lots of different screwdriver bits, a built in light, and an aluminum carrying case, it has a lot going for it. The metal case twists to lock and unlock and has room in the case for a handful of bits besides all the other bits it comes with. It has a high quality battery that is still running on the original charge even though I have used it a number of times. The only room for improvement, if any, would be the smooth handle of the screwdriver. It has so much torque you really have to hang on to it or it will slip in your hand. For me personally, it’s not much of an issue as I usually wear gloves while working and the drag from the gloves is enough for me to slipping through my hand. At a price point just south of $70 it may seem a bit pricey for a brand I am not familiar with, but so far I say it is well worth the price. I will try any come back in 6 months or so and let you know if my opinion has changed any. As of right now, I don’t expect my feelings about it to be any different though. ... show more

I really wanted to like this electric screw driver since Hoto makes excellent products. Like most of their products, it is sleek, works well, and is nice to just look at. The buttons are intuitive to use for screw and unscrew direction and it's motor fairly quiet too. The built-in light is a nice touch. But the 1 design flaw is that it's fairly difficult to retrieve the different bits from their built in holder in the case, especially if you have big hands. Surely there must have been a better way to design how the bits are held that held them securely in place but also easily retrievable. ... show more

Very well built — feels solid. The adjustable torque level is a nice feature. And the built in light is very handy. Use seems intended for in-home use rather than automotive although I’m sure it would work OK in limited situations.. It comes with a large assortment of useful bits. Some are stored in the units case while others in small plastic carriers (2). I would much rather have all bits stored in one carrier in order of size or function. As is, makes finding the needed bit a little inconvenient. All in all, this is now my in-house electric screwdriver. Am very happy to have it! ... show more
