    • Eliminates the slipperyness of wet concrete
When people climb out of the hot tub, the concrete in front of it forms lots of slippery puddles. Now when people slosh water out of the tub, this will allow their feet to not slip on the water. It's thin enough to cut if you need a different size or shape. I'm peeved about the creases, however, because it ships folded not rolled. Makes it look cheap and kind of ugly. ... show more

This review is for the Hot Tub Mat 80"x78", Water Absorbent Mat, Above-Ground Pool Protector Mat, Hot Tub Flooring Protector, Anti-Slip and Waterproof Backing, Hot Tub Accessories. This is a nice black color versatile floor/ground covering that I got as I plan to get a hot tub next year or so. It has a waterproof nonslip backing, and the top has a nice soft felted feel, so it won't be rough on your skin. I'm planning on having the concrete pads extended around from one to the other for our covered patios, then will have a local company come and do the metal awning covers... then I can put the hot tub out there protected from the weather... This is a nice big size that has many other uses though. Be great for an outdoor rug, use for picnic, set up as clean confined space outside for a baby/toddler, use outside for exercise/yoga... this would also be great to use to set aquarium stands on it to protect you floors from any water dripped/spilled, it would be good to use as an entryway rug/place for shoes/boots to keep mud/snow off your floors... This seems like a good quality mat, it has a good weight to it but it was not difficult for me to handle it. It came nicely folded up in a thick plastic bag in it's shipping box. I appreciated it was delivered clean and dry despite our weather. You can cut it to whatever size/shape you want too. I think for the quality/versatile use of this VS the regular price $39.99 per the listing it's a good buy. I mean sure you could use any old rug to cushion a pool or hot tub, but this one is made to get wet and dry quickly and stand up to repeatedly getting wet... Ordered the Hot Tub Mat 80"x78", Water Absorbent Mat, Above-Ground Pool Protector Mat to use as a mat for exercise equipment. One of my foam mats have started to tear and was looking for a different type of mat. Came across this hot tub mat and the description of the mat seemed that it might work for my needs. Upon receiving the mat, it was a bit thinner than I hoped, but the mat seems well made and the backing on the mat has a good grip on a clean wood floor. Although this mat is intended for hot tubs or pools, it seems to be a good option to use as a base mat for exercise equipment. Moreover, the mat can easily be cut to the size needed. Currently using this mat under an elliptical machine and seems to be holding up well. My main reason I ordered this mat is to keep sweat from dripping onto the floor, and the water proofing of this mat works well for keeping sweat from the floor or from accidental water bottle spills. It seems that this mat will also be easy to clean as needed. I am pleased with the performance of this mat and given that I can cut this mat into two pieces to accommodate up to two of my exercise machines, makes this a good value over purchasing individual exercise equipment mats. ... show more

This mat is great if you have a portable or blowup hot tub. I like that the Mat is nice an thing one side is fabric the other is coated. It unfolds easily and lays down flat. It serves several functions, 1 protects the portable tub bottom from ground. 2 absorbs water splashes. 3 Prevents slips/falls when getting out. For me the that’s great because I have the tub on a concrete slab. Any kind of splashing that happens when I turn the bubbles on gets absorbed by the pad instead of making the concrete wet also when I get in and out of the tub, I made sure to position the pad, so I would have a small space to stand that I wouldn’t slip on getting in and out. It’s very thin and lightweight which means when I am draining the hot tub and cleaning it out I can also easily spray clean the pad down and let it air dry outside. I think it is a good investment if you are going to have one of these portable, hot tubs. ... show more
