Great value — works just as hoped with easy install using the included wrench. (Yeah, you could use your pliers just as easily, but nice it’s in the box with Teflon tape as well, so you literally need nothing else to put it in.) Came with two flow restrictors and I used the smaller one, and it still has good pressure. Some of the settings are a little weird (mist? why??) but the normal rain/straight flow setting is great. It was extremely easy to install, it comes with a tool to tighten it well, I also liked that it comes with plumbing sealant tape, although I didn't need it - it seems pretty hardy (but of course, we'll have to see how long it lasts...) One of the best things about it is that it offers a variety of options, from a very conservative use of water, up to a fairly generous stream of water with a good cover area, as well as a strong, massage-like pressure stream option, and pressure mist, which has a tingling effect on the skin. It says it is "self-cleaning" and doesn't clog easily, all of which so far seems true. I rated it highly as a very economical purchase alternative, comparing very well with some of the higher-priced options I've tried, which in some cases have a more limited cover area and inferior adjustment options. ... show more

    • Decent for a low-flow head

A pretty solid little low-flow showerhead, for the price. The pressure is really nothing to write home about but it's definitely better than most low-flow showerheads and it's cheap, so it's a pretty easy purchase for most people who just want something that performs decently without using a lot of water. (I'll note that if you remove the rubber o-ring in the restrictor, it knocks the flow up to around ~2.5, and then the pressure actually does feel impressive, but that kinda defeats the purpose, so for the purpose of this review I'll assume you're not going to do that) My biggest caveat is that the coverage is pretty minimal, it shoots a pretty linear water stream, so if you want something that fills your shower, this isn't for you. The 6 inch version does a better job of this, but at the cost of some water pressure, turning it into a pretty typical low-flow head again. As for the settings, the only one you're really going to use is the middle one. The pressure jet is nice but nobody showers like that, and the mist setting is pretty lame. The in-between settings might as well not even be there. ... show more

Everybody seems happy with this showerhead. It's pretty good but the flow is a little low. Spray is ineffective and stream isn't great. You can put it between spray and stream and it's pretty good. I was still dissatisfied. So, I fixed it. Watch out, this involves a spider. 1. Look inside the screw fitting. Remove the filter screen with a small screwdriver. You will see a small o-ring. Remove it with the small screwdriver. You can now see the spider with legs in a ring. The holes between the legs should allow an increased flow. If you want, you can stop here. I didn't. 2. Place a small screwdriver on the spider's legs. Pound on the screwdriver and break out the spider. Fish out the spider with needlenose pliers. Replace the filter screen and install the showerhead. Ahh, much better flow. I found that adjusting to spray with a little stream was perfect. I would now give this product a 5. ... show more
