I needed to replace my capacitance meter and saw this one. For the price, I'm very satisfied. It is accurate enough to let you know if a capacitor is good and close to value. On the lower scales, up to about 2000 pf, it's off about 2% and when measuring above 400 uf it's about 10% off. Ie..470 uf reads about 505uf and 1000 uf cap reads about 910 uf. It arrived today and I ran it through a series of comparisons with my most accurate capacitance meters. The first step is get the leads seated properly in the meter because my set required a hard press into the meter before they worked. I was impressed by the accuracy on a wide range of a capacitance values. The one page user guide will list the expected accuracy for various capacitor value ranges. If you're working at JPL or on lab equipment you'll want another meter but for probably 80% of everyday applications this meter will serve just fine. It is a good value for the money but don't expect high precision meter for twenty dollars. ... show more

Flimsy. The back support is very shaky when folded down. Readings seem okay. Basically too light to stay stable on your desk. Otherwise. Good for the price.
