I got this for a one and a half year old, even though it’s labeled for 3 or 4 plus. It is tough for him to climb due to size but we monitor, provide support, and he has a blast. Putting it together solo was a nightmare but it was possible. It is fairly light and easy to move solo. The slide is steep so he goes down super fast, but he is learning to control that. There is no way to the slide’s platform without using the spider gym (or going to the slide). The slide is held on by 2 screws but the angle is weird so they snapped/ripped the plastic within a day. Doesn’t seem like it’ll cut/hurt anyone but its a shame it broke so quickly. ... show more

I bought this item for my grandson who is autistic and we thought this will help him with his fine motor skills, etc. I like the appearance and color of the item and so far, it appears to be sturdy, but I'm not done putting it together. The image on Amazon is very misleading. It's makes you think that the gym itself is 8ft in height when it's actually only 3ft. My grandson is almost 4 ft tall, if he's not 4ft already. I'm going to have to up-grade when he turns 6 next year, eventhough it's supposed to go up to age 8! This should only be marketed to children 5 and under with height linits just like the weight limits. Lastly, the instructions are horrible! You should be ashamed of yourselves for putting poorly identifiable pictures with no step by step written instructions. I spent an entire afternoon yesterday trying to put this thing together and I'm still not finished! The instructions are just terrible! The wrench that was provided is worthless and bent when I tried to use it, so I had to use a socket wrench, which made it a lot easier! ... show more
