Edit: ok, so I almost returned this comforter- I am so glad I didn’t. When I initially opened the box, I noticed right away that there was an odor. Like musty, mildew kind of odor. I threw it in the washer but it still seemed to have a mildew smell after washing, so I tossed it in the dryer with the intention of returning it once it was dry. BUT when I opened the dryer and pulled out this incredibly soft, fluffy cloud of a blanket, I was instantly in love. The smell had disappeared and what was left was this luxurious comforter that my family has been fighting over for the last 4 days. The fabric is so soft to the touch, the comforter is lightweight, breathable and is a perfect balance of temperature control (not too hot but not too cold) My previous down comforter had a bit of a crinkle noise to it, but this new one is noiseless- I love it and highly recommend! ... show more

I took a close up to show how tightly women the cover is. The sun is coming through a screen so that’s why there appears to be a pattern. It is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Which I like. It keeps the feathers in and is still super soft. But this does have a very nice crisp feel to it! I prefer that. Light weight and perfect for warmer months. But it’s heavy enough (35oz fill) to work for hot sleepers even in cold climates. It’s worth every penny. ... show more

I love this blanket. It's so comfy. It's soft and warm so far. It's winter now so haven't used it in summer yet but I sleep hot and so far it's very comfortable I can finally use sheets and a blanket without sweating all night. Cotton sheets+ duvet cover and this duvet was the trick. The one big con I have is the feather shedding. I've shared a few pictures. My duvet does have a cover on it but if you look closely you can see there are a lot of feathers :( So far though it doesn't seem to have affected the blanket. I held the blanket up to the light when I got it and each square had a nice amount of filling and the stitching was nice. It have loop anchor points on all corners and sides. Love it so much just hate getting poked by feathers. I would still purchase this again though definitely worth it especially if it's on a good sale. Mine fits my king bed perfectly with just the right amount of hang over. And when you gently fluff it it gets that nice fluffy affect and the squares people like. This was my first duvet of my own. It’s great quality and light but still very warm. I get underneath and I’m literally a rock, there is no reason to ever move because it’s like a perpetually warm air bath that never cools off. Love it!

This is a perfect all season down comforter. I sleep really hot so I was concerned it might not work for me. But it does work-it keeps me cool and I’m sleeping well. I bought it in August, so can’t really comment on winter warmth, but I bet it will be just right! I love the crispness of the cotton, along with the light weight warmth. Warmth level is great for the Florida winter. The duvet did have an odor when I washed it, but that was just the wet down/feathers. Once dry, it has no odor and fluffed up alot. I would buy this again.

Definitely needs a wash or two before using. It stinks! It's fine now. I'd consider this a winter comforter. It's not overly hot tho. Not to crunchy. My dog and I are waay slower getting out of bed now. He just turns over and ignores me when I call him in the morning. LOL. Very happy with it and I'd buy it again. ... show more

Nothing about this is comfortable or fluffy. Waste of money. You can see through the two layers that there is barely any fluff and no feathers. Opened the package and it smells like mildew.
