Obviously, this piece does not come with any power tools… it’s wild that there are people who’ve complained about that. There’s an Allen wrench, but you can go ahead and toss that over your shoulder. A Phillips head screwdriver will suffice. I used a little 4 volt cordless screwdriver. They’re like $10 at Walmart and are perfect for simple jobs like assembling this. After reading some of these reviews it’s hard to fathom how some of these people function as adults. Like it’s just bizarre to complain about a cheap piece of furniture off of Amazon not coming with any power tools… Anyway, this is compressed wood covered with a sheet of veneer. It does seem thicker than standard compressed wood and veneer stuff. Of course you don’t want to get it wet or place it in an area with a lot of humidity. Other than that, the assembly was easy enough, all hardware was accounted for with extras just in case, and I didn’t have a problem with the predrilled holes being in the wrong place. You just have to pay attention that you have each piece facing the right way. It’s pretty straight forward if you can read and use a screwdriver. The litter box I already had, which I believe is just the standard size, fit inside the cabinet with plenty of room to spare. My cat knew it was for him immediately and has used it since I got it set up. It’s so nice having it completely out of sight. You wouldn’t even know there was a litter box in the house. The cabinet looks nice enough among my other furniture and my kids are currently using the top as a storage area for all their arts and crafts stuff. For the price, you can’t really ask for more. Also, I bought it in white and there were no marks, scuffs, or stains when I unboxed it. It all appeared brand new. ... show more

Bought this to keep my dog out of the litter. It has worked perfectly. Not the sturdiest thing, but it has lasted a few months and my 13 lb cat enjoys his privacy. Assembly was easy and now I don't have a litter box in plain view. Highly recommend.

Very nice enclosure and easy to put together. However, I would make sure that the part that says 'Back' actually goes toward the back of the structure. Otherwise, you'll have to take it apart and redo it. That happened to me and what should have taken me about 45 minutes to an hour to put together took me two hours. No fault of the manufacturer though. It was user error haha! Anyway, my cats like it and gives them a private place to go to the bathroom. Cuts down on litter tracking too. ... show more

This is so nice looking In the den. It is well built and has worked really well for my one cat. I’m now considering an automatic cat litter and I’m having a trouble finding one large enough to accommodate the machine. I really wish this company made ain the den.
