I bought this tarp for a pool cover. I put the black side up so that the sun helps to heat the pool. The heavyweight Will hopefully last for longer than the 5 mil tarp I had before.

I purchased this tarp to cover 3 cords of firewood. It’s been on less than 2 months. The tarp was purchased in October 2022, and remained in the box until we placed it on the firewood. Upon lifting the tarp to collect some firewood the wood beneath the tarp was wet. When I looked up through the tarp I could see light through small holes which clearly meant the wood was getting wet whenever it rained. And it has rained. I figured I would get at least one year out of this tarp but less than two months of wear is ridiculous. Buyer beware ... show more

This is a pretty good tarp and will do the job. It's Heavy Duty, so should last a couple of seasons. The seams are all heat sealed, with rope in the crease. The grommets are all well attached. No loose or wiggly bits. It's almost exactly the same specs as the "Extreme Duty Weather Resistant Tarp" from HF that I got for $5 less. Except that one has poorly connected grommets and the black side wraps the edges instead of the silver (it lasted one winter before a grommet tore). For the few extra dollars, and it magically arrived at my door (yeah Prime), this will be covering my tractor & a few other lawn tools until they are needed again in the spring. I'll update the review if I have any problems with the tarp before then. ... show more
