In the age of Covid-19 and shelter-in-place, it was nice to purchase this small (dorm-size) freezer (note: there is no refrigerator compartment). The freezer arrived in perfect condition with a layer of protective plastic wrap. It keeps all of our extra meats frozen solid. I love the size (just the right supplemental freezer size for my family that has a relatively small main refrigerator and freezer in our kitchen). It is also quiet. I don't use the locking feature, but it's nice to know it's there (e.g., for people storing, say, medical/health stuff that needs to be frozen and secured). ... show more

We haven't used or small freezer yet. It's met to go in our Motorhome for more freezer space. So I can't answer your questions. But it's the perfect size and I like that you can open the door in both directions. And has a key to lock it up. The space looks perfect for the extra frozen meals. No more bringing out ice chest and buying dry ice at $80 that would only last 4 to 6 days. And my food became wasted. After having this freezer for 3 months it decided to stop working and all of our baby’s breast milk reserves now need to be thrown away. See previous comments I would give them 1000 bad reviews if I could This freezer arrived extremely damaged (see photos). The cardboard on the bottom of the box was missing and replaced with packing tape. This made it extremely difficult to unpack since the bottom of the freezer was literally stuck and also made the bottom very sticky. The top corner is dented, a leg is bent and the metal bracket on the bottom is dented. Even if we chose to look past these cosmetic disappointments, we can’t use it- the freezer arrived locked and is missing the keys. We tried to return it and was told by UPS that it would cost $100 to ship it. It is absolutely absurd that we should have to cover any shipping costs to return a damaged and unusable freezer. Not the experience I expected when spending a few hundred dollars on a product. ... show more

I bought this freezer at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic because I feared getting sick and I wanted to pre-cook meals and freeze them for my child in case I was unable to cook for her. This is perfect. I put it in my living room where it doubles as an end table next to the recliner. There is no extra room in my kitchen. It holds alot of frozen food, much bigger than a cube size unit. Once the pandemic passes, I might relocate it to the basement but for now, it is pretty convenient as a side "table" - perfect height and I can access it easily. upon reading all the reviews on the plethora of freezer options, I became concerned about their quality and reliability. So far this freezer is working very well, and i followed directions to allow the refrigerant to settle before plugging in. I decided on this model, oddly enough, due to price. Approximate interior dimensions: top shelf: 12 X 12 X 6 bottom half-shelf: 7 X 12 X 6.5 Delivered faster than promised, but in black instead of depicted white (not a problem for me). Comes with warning to keep upright at all times, but it came packed super snug in box too tight to lift out. So I had to cut (destroy) the box to get it out. As noted by other reviewers, the back interior wiring area is open instead of being concealed behind a panel. Not a problem for me, but query could this be problematic if you have small inquisitive children? Comes with warning to leave it unplugged for 24 hours after removing from the box, so I can't yet confirm that it operates as expected. ... show more
