Used them immediately for a huge laundry day. Was able to carry heavy loads without the handles becoming crumpled and painful to hold. The waxed interior kept its shape and the material is of heavy canvas. The only thing that felt slightly flimsy was the wire top of the basket. It bent out of shape easily. I'm writing this review for all the people like me who don't really care about optics if the function works. It holds everything perfectly, and doesn't tear or breakdown over time (at least not yet after about a year). It's going to sag because it's a fairly light material, and it is slightly crinkly, but I'd much rather have that "issue" than have a better one that wears out quickly, but looks nice at first. Also, the sag is almost a positive in my opinion, because it conforms to the clothes, and holds more than it seems if you need it to because it stretches very slightly ... show more

I absolutely love these bags! They fold flat to store in tight spaces. The material is sturdy enough that they stand up on their own. There's an aluminum rim around top of bag that holds it open, but not heavy enough to weigh it down. The material feels and looks canvas on the exterior, yet has a water-resistant surface on the inside so damp clothes don't leave water stains on bag. They are basic in color so I can use them in any room without them being noticeable. They have outlasted all of the previous laundry hampers we've used in past.
