This is a beautiful piece of furniture! It was fairly easy to assemble, all the necessary hardware and tools are provided. The material is almost textured linen, plastic crystal like buttons and metal nails on the headboard. Colorwise, I purchased the beige. The headboard platform bed arrived in a timely manner. The instructions made it so easy to assemble. All the tools needed to put together the main parts of the platform came with all the pieces.
