First, my kit did not come with the nutrition packet deeming the entire thing “useless”. I was already ready to roll planting everything when I noticed. My fiancé is a landscaper and looked at the pellet product once it expanded and said it was pure garbage and we will get different soil to plant the herbs. The instructions are conlficting, showing a wait time of 30-60 minutes in an image but then tells you to wait only 15 minutes to soak seeds and pellet. Did the water test on the seeds almost all of them float making them unusable. Now I can see why so many reviews talk about nothing sprouting. Lastly, two of the wooden stakes came broken. Overall it’s a terrible kit. Save your money and buy something better by doing your research ... show more

I was excited to receive this Bonsai Starter Kit as it seemed like a great way to start learning about bonsai trees. While the packaging and included items were nice, I was a bit disappointed by the size of the plants—it was much smaller than I expected based on the pictures. That said, the kit includes everything you need to get started, and the Grow Guide is helpful for beginners. This would be a good gift for someone who’s new to bonsai, but keep in mind the trees will require a lot of time and patience to grow into something resembling the beautiful examples shown on the box. ... show more

Hopefully it will turn out great. Since it's a plant that will come from a seed it will take a while to see the results. But overall the things that come with it to start growing are great. It has complete instructions also. So overall looks great.

My experience with the Bonsai Tree Kit, Grow Your Own: Premium 4 Bonsai Trees Starter Kit has been somewhat mixed. One notable downside is the limited quantity of seeds provided. I found myself expecting a more generous supply, and unfortunately, some of the seeds didn't germinate as expected, resulting in a less than ideal growing experience. Moreover, I encountered a hiccup with the QR code on the packaging – it simply did not work. This was disappointing as I was hoping for additional guidance or tips that might have been accessible through the QR code. On the positive side, the included pots and soil are of decent quality, and the instructions are clear, making it suitable for beginners. However, the challenges with seed quantity and germination, coupled with the non-functional QR code, leave room for improvement in the overall kit. Everything you need to start growing from seeds is here. 4 bags of seeds. My 4 bags had 5 seeds of each type of plant. After a month, the flame tree sprouted quickly, the Japanese black pine was a little slower, and the rest didn't sprout but ill use the extra seeds to try again. I might have to make sure I use a nail file to scratch the seed before soaking it for germination like the instructions say. ... show more
