The plant came in squashed in a box that didn't fit. Most of the leaves were broken . The ceramic container it came on was alot smaller than the picture, it's tiny! A few weeks later my plant is thriving, it did cone in alot longer , bigger than the picture. Overall it was just the packaging that ruined the 1st impression, but weeks later is growing and looking better ... show more

10/10/2017: When I received my money tree it didn't look too hot. All of the 6 leaves were damaged. What you see in the picture is because of everything I've done. Two at a time, I removed the damaged leaves. If you do this with yours, cut the stem, but don't cut it right next to the branch. Instead, leave about 1cm of stem. It's pretty easy to see, because that part is much bigger than the rest of the stem. After a few days, you'll be able to snap that small piece off. Because I waited, now I've got about 13 new leaves growing. Many of them are actually just brand new and not where old ones were. If you're able to look closely you might be able to see thestem don't know if my picture is good enough for that). The 5 large leaves have been growing around a month. After I snapped off the last 2 small pieces, I cut another 2 stems. Another thing I've been doing is I use half-strength Miracle Gro fertilizer every other time I water, and I let the soil dry out completely before watering it again. This is very important because the plant will die if it gets to much water. Oh... one last thing... I have mine in indirect sunlight, which is actually about 5 feet away from a 36 watt TaoTronics grow light because my apartment window is northeast facing. The money tree doesn't care for direct sunlight, and it seems that my plant is happy with this set-up. I would recommend this plant from 9Greenbox. Good luck! ... show more

I purchased this product as a gift. It started yellowing and was covered in bugs. Worse yet, when the person I gifted it to pulled the tree out of the dirt, it had no roots. It was as if they took branches from another tree, twisted them together, and stuck them into the dirt. I would have given zero stars if this was an option. ... show more

I love this little guy he is flourishing. I did have to change his pot and prune all his leaves off when he first came The leaves were messed up and some dying. The pot immediately needed to be changed because it was too small and his roots were growing up and out of it. So I definitely recommend ordered a bigger pot when your order your tree. It was excellently wrapped in ceran wrap so no mess when unpacking. The only other eh is for mine there were 6 stalks 3 sets of 2 that were then braided, at the beginning of the braid one stalk got left out and was added a little farther up so to me it was noticeable. But was very easy to fix since tree was well taken care of before it was mailed so re braiding was a cinch. Would definitely recommend and reorder. ... show more
