That's a bold statement, I know. I'm a Texan that has lived in Boston for over 20 years. The cold weather is so hard for me, because all my life I have battled painfully icy hands and feet, even as a kid in the South. I live in a house built in the 1860's, and IT is cold all the time as well. We keep space heaters everywhere. I wear thick socks & house shoes. Warm layers of clothing. None of that makes a difference to my hands & feet. I end up putting my feet in a hot water bath several times a day. It's such a hassle but necessary for me to function. I can't go do outdoor activities unless I've preheated myself. Here is what I know is NOT causing me to be perpetually cold: (ruled out by extensive medical testing) -Thyroid or adrenals -Iron level -Hormones -Diabetes I've been the same healthy weight for 25 years, plus I am physically active. The final ruling is poor circulation, what are ya gonna do? My husband like to find a solution to everything. He saw these on here and ordered them. I commented that I thought these were ridiculous and wouldn't make a bit of difference. I was very wrong. These are the bomb! Put them in the microwave for about 45 seconds then pop onto feet. Have a seat with a book or magazine for 10 mins or so, because they aren't made for walking around. The bliss of my toes getting warmed up just makes me happy. It's easy, and I don't have to make a huge production out of running bath water, soaking & drying my feet 3 times a day (although I do have very clean feet as a result). They warm the bottom and top of the foot. The bonus is that these also work nicely to warm up my hands! Instead of running the kitchen faucet I just stick my hands in here. Warm in no time. Now I can reheat myself into a less cold & cranky state in no time at all. My husband says, now wasn't that worth $20? I wish I had these years ago. I love these slippers!!! They are so soft and cuddly and the quality is excellent. It says to warm for a minute but for me I heat them for 1 min 25 seconds and they are perfect. They fit comfortably; however walking in them is a little difficult. You end up walking like a duck, slow. The lavender smells great and really helps you to relax. ... show more

My feet always get cold in the midwest winter. This was a drunk purchase and I do not regret it. They are very soft and warm up in the microwave pretty quickly. The reason for the four stars is that they are a bit heavy for they have the beans in them and I do have to wash them by hand for my feet do get a little sweaty from the Heat. I love them on a cold night and spray lavender on them for extra calming effect ... show more

I bought these for my wife while she works at home. She absolutely loves having them on at the desk while she’s stuck on her computer, the lavender scent is a nice add. I wouldn’t recommend these as regular house slippers if you plan on walking around the house or going outside because they do have a little extra weight to them, but they’re perfect for lounging around and keeping your feet nice and cozy! ... show more

I was so excited to get these slippers to ease my arthritis pain. The positives,,, they smell nice and arrived within 24 hours. The negatives,,,, the adhesive on the packaging looked like to product was not new. More importantly, the instructions for my microwave tell me to warm for 1 minute. NOTHING. I warmed another 30 seconds as if I had a smaller watt microwave and I still noticed nothing. If I sit with my feet under my legs and push on them, you can feel a bit of warmth. I waited an hour and microwaved them a full 2 minutes, the top part was slightly warm for about 30 seconds and now there is no heat. I would really like to return these slippers as I’m not sure if they were used to begin with but I have now walked around my house with them on for 2 hours and they definitely show wear on the bottoms. I have the bootie style on order to deliver in a week. Hopefully they will work better or they are going to be returned immediately.     • Slippers are too large… One size won’t fit a smaller foot

I ordered these as a Christmas gift. I was surprised that they didn’t come in sizes… they say that “one size fits most, and although this brought up “red flags,” I decided to trust that they would fit… they don’t. They are large, and fit loosely, and a bit on the heavy side. Don’t get me wrong… they are lovely slippers, but they seem to run large. I decided to return them, but was just told that they’re not eligible for return, so I guess I’m stuck with slippers that are too large for my gift recipient, and for me. Be warned… these slippers are large, and I don’t think that one size fits most. If you have a larger foot, they’d probably be perfect for you. These booties have become one of my favorite purchases. After I had hip surgery, I was sent home with an ice machine that circulates ice water constantly over my leg. As a result, I was freezing despite it being summer in Texas. I couldn't handle the weight of a lot of covers or bedding, so these were a life saver. I had them microwaved for between 90 - 120 seconds and they were perfect. They have a lavender aroma that is nice, but not overpowering. I read other reviews that discussed walking in these, but I never have and never will. I don't think the proper function is to walk in them, rather heat them up and sit down and relax. I have found myself reaching for them after a long day to soothe my tired feet and am looking forward to cooler weather and more reasons to use these snuggly things! ... show more
