Not the best looking rack or the highest quality craftsmanship but for the price this is an excellent value. Now that it is assembled and loaded up with 20 pairs of shoes I don't plan on ever moving it around so I'm not worried at all about the durability. Even though it's made of plastic it easily holds all my sneakers, boots and dress shoes without any issue. Each level holds 5 pairs of shoes and in order to increase its capacity to hold 20 shoes I took the handles that are supposed to get attached to the top and instead attached them to the bottom which lifts the rack off the ground about 5 inches enough to store some flip flops and low top sneakers on the floor of my closet underneath the rack. I recently purchased the larger 24 pair shoe rack and was so pleased that I bought this smaller unit for a closet in a second home so it would fit. Solid, no wobble shoe rack that won't knock your shoes off the rack when you place another pair on the rack. Very well built with nicely finished metal tubes assembled in polymer frames. Assembly is fairly easy and, as several others suggest, use a rubber hammer to tap each tube into its socket. This assures that the tubes are fully seated. Instructions are sufficient. From an aesthetic standpoint, it probably won't win any awards. So, I'f you are looking to enhance a beautiful master bedroom closet, you may want a more attractive piece, perhaps in wood. We used it in our run-of-the-mill closet in a second home, so we weren't concerned with looks, but it is very practical and does the job it's designed to do. ... show more

The last shoe rack I had was a cheap “wealded,” clanky piece of trash that broke while moving. This was the perfect replacement! Shipping was fast & directions are EASY to follow (2 pages with Pictures). I had this up in under 10min. The pieces are plastic tubing that pop into elbows so they can take a little beating & simple take down/put back up. Once I had it together and put my husband’s & my shoes on, I realized I was short rack space (too many shoes) so I moved the handles to the bottom which made a perfect small nook for sandles & flip flops. I bought a new house and have been meaning to organize my closet now for a year!! This shoe rack is exactly what my closet needed. 😁 It is now organized and I feel so much better. At first, it was rather difficult to assemble, but once I got the hang of it and figured it out, it went smoothly. I did not realize how much space my shoe boxes was actually taking up in my closet. Once I purged those boxes, I gained a massive amount of room. The trash bag contains all the shoe boxes I was keeping (like a fool). Why did I do that? This is just my master closet. This is easy to put together and will hold up well. It holds more shoes than i expected. I placed my sandals under the bottom shelf and they fit just fine. They included an extra shelf as a free Christmas gift. It came quickly and is sturdy as well. I see no reason why this won'y last a lifetime. The rungs are hollow tubing and the connectors are a hard plastic. What is not depicted in the photos are the small legs that come with this so the rungs do not rest flat on the floor. The legs allow for additional storage albeit only three or so inches under the rack. Yes I would buy this again. Folks looking for a high heel rack may want a flat solid bench style rack rather than bars like this construction.Just a thought . I AM PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT. ... show more

Love this shoe rack! It holds my shoes easily and neatly, freeing up loads of room on my side of the closet. It was delivered very quickly and assembly was a breeze. And the price; outstanding! It is very light weight and easy to cary. I raved about it so much that I ordered an additional one to give to my mother in law, who recently moved in with us (😳) and she loves hers just as much (whew!). My husband thinks he could use one for his side of the closet so as our 2021 resolution of 'declutter and organize' goes forward, I'll likely be coming back for more.
