Size description (72" wide) can be a bit misleading - this is total width of both panels combined, not each panel My initial review, as I just bought these is these are okay. They are decently thick, somewhat stiff material (100% polyester); they will block out light. They are not lined (was not expecting that, so that was good.) I bought these on a whim and didn't have high expectations given the price. I live in an old house that is steam heated so we don't have duct work and therefore can't put in central air without it costing a fortune (plaster walls). In the summer a big AC unit goes in one of our living room windows and the floor length curtain always interferes with the AC, requiring us to fight with it during the summer months. After trying various ways of pinning it up (which always comes undone thanks to our dogs constantly needing to look out the window) I finally got smart and simply ordered one short set of curtains for the one window with the AC and a long set for the matching window. It looks a bit weird, but it works and now the AC unit isn't suffocating on the curtain and can work efficiently. I didn't want to spend a fortune on curtains for this since it's kind of a temporary thing. But these are really nice! The fabric is surprisingly thick, soft, and nice to the touch. Both sides look the same, there's no liner in the back - which I've come to realize is good thing. They are 100% lightproof. I tossed my old lined curtains in the wash when I put the new ones up and found the the liner back on those curtains kinda glued itself together when I dried them, even thought dryer was set on low heat. So I think the lack of liner on these curtains is a bonus and they will stand up to washing better. (They probably do have some kind of liner on the inside because they are surprisingly thick, but there's fabric on both sides, so they look good from the outside too.) I like them enough that I'm going to purchase another long panel for when the AC unit comes out and make these our everyday curtains. ... show more

Pretty much needed these to black out my french doors in our basement , which were about 12 feet wide . Bought 2 of the 74 X83 and they did the job. I have a projector TV , and that was my main reason for needing blackout curtains .These came wrinkled , so not wrinkle free. Had a bit of a smell to them as well. I wouldnt recommend these for any other area of our house . ... show more

I have two panels (74x62) over each of the windows (52x38) in my room and they do a great job covering the windows and keeping out the light. I wish that they were a bit bunchier , but there's still plenty of extra fabric hanging and very little light gets in. I was worried the fabric was going to be nearly plastic after reading some of the reviews, but the material i got was thick, but still felt soft and pliant. The curtains came sealed in plastic bags and I was worried they might smell when I opened the bags, but they were fine, which was a relief! I'm really happy with them and would order again and recommend them for anyone on a budget looking for decent curtains to block the light in their rooms. BY THE WAY, I thought it was common knowledge, but the measurements are for both curtain panels, LOL. How people are actually confused about this and leaving bad reviews based on that is hysterical. 🤡 ... show more

These are very nice but....they are permanently wrinkled. After washing them and ironing them, the wrinkles / folds are still there. They come out a little, but not completely. Value for the money is excellent but the quality could be better. You get what you pay for. Hopefully, the wrinkles release in time. ... show more
