This was a cute little dinette set that we are using outdoors on a covered screened porch. I am 58 and not particularly handy and put this together by myself. All the pieces were present except the all-important allen wrench; however, I have a habit of saving those so I happened to have one that fit, thank goodness. At some point, I misplaced the installation instructions, emailed the seller, and I was promptly sent a new set of instructions. The chairs are surprisingly comfy, especially the back, though I will likely order cushions. This set is comfy for 4 people, and we can add one person to the ends if we limit the number of dishes, so we can fit up to 6 very close people eating bowls of chili! ... show more

I love this set! I have had it a few weeks now and it’s perfect for my new place. It’s sturdy it doesn’t wobble after a few weeks of use anyway- the frame is actually metal and the gray wood finish looks modern and gorgeous. It’s not real wood grain of course but I haven’t seen any scratches or chips yet and the pattern is very permissive that I don’t think they’d show anyways. Putting the set together was a bit challenging when it came to the chairs and aligning the seat part to the frame but after laying it on a raised surface it was easier to assemble them. Overall really pleased- I use it as a dining room table and work from home desk sometimes! Love it for the price it is. ... show more

Assembling the chairs are the hardest part of assembly. If done incorrectly, you will believe the holes are in the wrong place or the back of the chair is bent forward. Vyt neither was true for me, although I believed it to be the case on the first assembly attempt. See below for more info. Other than assembly, which took about 2.5 hours for me by myself, the table is lightweight yet sturdy on a carpeted area. It is wood pressed particulate with a laminate faux wood feature. The laminate is likely to peel off after a few months, so use tableclothes or placemats and coasters. It fits in a small area but provides enough surface space for 4 people to eat at, which is what I was looking for. Having trouble with assembly?: If the back of the chair is bent forward then unassemble the back frame, rotate around, then reassemble. The curve of the back's frame should point toward the base of the chair, not away. If the holes on the seat of the chair do not align, try first attaching the leg frames so that the holes line up. Keep in mind that the seat is not a perfect rectangle, but instead the more narrow section will be the closest to the back of the chair. The legs should be toward the wider section of the seat. The wood grain design should be perpendicular to the leg frame and go from left to right of the chair, not front ton back. ... show more

When I first got my package, there was a huge crack in the middle of table and several of the pieces were defective. Thankfully, customer service resent any of the parts that I needed to finish assembling. I have a small apartment just me and my son and it’s perfect for us two. Good size and pretty sturdy. Putting it together was pretty easy also. I only rated 4 stars because the new table top wouldn’t screw / fasten in some areas, and the initial defective / damaged pieces. But otherwise I’m happy with it. :) ... show more

Update: It’s now 9 months later and the chairs are literally falling apart. The screws became loose on their own recently and then the other day my relative stood up from the chair and the entire seat part flipped up. The other seats are similarly loose. Not worth the money at all. (Original review) Most of the product assembled easily and amazingly. However, one of the chairs was problematic. The frame wasn’t produced correctly, so the screws didn’t go in properly and it left the frame off-center (I tried and retried it a few times to ensure it wasn’t user error). Then, the board for the seat was misshapen (shown in the pictures) so none of the holes for the screws were aligned with the frame. It was very difficult to try to put it together. Overall, the table seems sturdy, but I definitely would have preferred that the frame had been made well. ... show more

Overall, I’m fairly happy with this set. For the low price, it looks nice and seems sturdy so far. The instructions say you need 2 people to assemble it but it’s doable with 1 if need be. I had to knock off 1 star because the quality of the materials definitely made assembly a lot slower. Many of the screws were quite difficult to put in due to the holes having debris from production or being slight askew. They looked like parts that probably shouldn’t have passed quality control but did anyways. The biggest problem I had was with the chairs. The wooden boards have 4 pre-made holes already in them for the screws to connect it to the metal frame. Unfortunately, no matter how you turn the board there’s always 2 that won’t line up. They were about an inch off from lining up with the frame. I ended up having to just make my own holes in the boards for all the chairs. ... show more

This Dinning room set has its pros and cons for sure. While it's a fine table the chairs to have issues. I mean you get what you pay for but we expected a bit better for this price. Pros: -While it is time consuming to assemble it is easy. It took me about an hour to assemble the table and all the chairs but it wasn't hard to do. -It looks super cute and is as pictured. -its the perfect size for an apartment or small Dinning room. We were looking for a small table to fit into our new apartment and it's perfect. Cons: -whatever the "paper" that is the design on the chair is coming off. It's almost like a wallpaper material but it does not stay put. It's starting to come off the chairs which is annoying. -while the table does feel sturdy the chairs are having issues. The bolts constantly come loose and the chairs wobble. I have to tighten the bolts maybe once every 2 weeks on the chairs, which is pretty annoying. ... show more
