These chairs have been a fantastic purchase, especially for the price. They work well for our kids who are young as well as guests who have been upwards of 350lbs. My one complaint and the only reason for the 4 stars is the poor quality hardware. It's a $5 fix though if you just go to your local hardware store. The bolts attaching the seat to the base come loose every couple months which can make the chairs unstable. Instead of using the bolts that come with the chair, drop by Home Depot and grab 16 M6-1.00x16MM bolts along with 16 M6 lock washers. Put the lock washer on first, then the stock wide washer, etc. You'll thank yourself later and you'll have ended up with 4 great chairs at less than $100. ... show more

These are DEFINITELY Mom-approved! They comfortably fit everyone in our family from age 2-38 without any issues! They were super easy to put together, too! They haven't threatened to tip over at all, despite the 2 yr old climbing up & down on them 300 times already! They are incredibly easy to clean...just wipe right off with a damp dishcloth. They've even held up quite well, to me using them to stand on, so I can reach my ceiling to decorate. They definitely get a 5-star rating from me, ESPECIALLY at roughly $20/chair! ... show more

Initially I gave these chairs a 1-star review. The first set arrived covered in mold, which was a huge disappointment. The legs were unusable due to the damage. So, I contacted the seller and they were very quick to respond and offer a solution. We were sent a new set of chairs within just a few days, and the chairs we received were much, much better. A couple of the new legs did have a black scuff mark, but I may be able to wash those off. However, there was no mold or any real damage. And for the low price and ease of assembly, I’m not really upset by a couple of relatively small scuff marks. I’m just happy the mold issue was solved. Also, the chairs are surprisingly very comfy to sit on, and they seem quite sturdy. I love them! I paired them with a mid-century modern style table (also on Amazon) and they look great together. I’m happy with our purchase, and pleased with the customer service from this company. ... show more

    • Moldy and Contaminated Wood! Tip Over, Break Easy

WILL UPDATE ONCE REPLACEMENTS RECEIVED One of two sets came completely covered in mold. Other set was fine, though as others have mentioned, legs are uneven and feel unfinished. No way there would have been mold had the legs been properly finished with poly... I've already bought a replacement set and will update my review once I've dealt with returning the first. I realize that two sets are not a good sample size, but major inconvenience to repack and return, and wait for slow customer service. UPDATE: Replacement set also had surface mold, though much less. We took extra time cleaning and disinfecting prior to assembly. 2nd Update: They tip over if a child doesn't sit perfectly still in them... So we moved our 8 to a commercial property. They are being broken at a pace of about 1 every week or two with normal use. The screws also constantly fall out. I bought another pack of 4 and used loctite on all of them. Screws are holding, but chairs still braking. Of the 12 (16 counting the returns), we are down to 9. I'm ordering a different type of chair now, because I expect the remainders will only last a couple more months. These are basically cheap disposable chairs. If you are single or a couple and with under 200 lbs, these are serviceable as dining chairs, but I personally will never buy again. ... show more

Excellent chairs and excellent customer service from this seller. These chairs were way better than I expected, and what a value! They're strong, sturdy, and comfortable, plus they were a breeze to put together. I've seen some eames style chairs before and they felt small but these are actually a good size so you don't feel like you're sitting in a small chair - or a children's chair for that matter - yet they're space saving and fantastic for smaller spaces. They have a little flexibility which makes them more comfortable than regular chairs because the back gives a little when you lean, making them fantastic for sitting in longer periods of time. I used to only purchase upholstered chairs and ones that had a good amount of cushion, but these are even more comfortable! Am planning on purchasing more for my home office. The seller was very responsive and courteous, I was hesitant about purchasing chairs without using Amazon Prime but this seller showed me that service can be even better this way. They were very quick in responding and I had a fantastic experience overall. I also received my chairs incredibly fast, which was another thing I was hesitant about. Great for the price. You can find this product for 4 times the price at stores like world market. If you're on a budget looking for some cool looking - mid century boho chic hipster vibe chairs - these are great. If you're looking for comfortable chairs with good cushion these are not want you want, after all they are plastic chairs for $20 each. The screws and bolts were really dirty and when i finished the assembly i flipped the chairs upright and i got my dirty hand prints all over the white seat. But, it was pretty easy to clean off. I weigh 170 lbs - if i lean back too much or sit at the edge instead of deep in the chair, it feels cheap. Other than that they're great. ... show more
