Beautiful and thick curtains that do black out for the most part. The velvet is true. Because they arrive folded, there will be some creases in them for awhile unless you wash and tumble dry or hang dry. They are beautiful for the price! I am very happy with these curtains! I ended up using these all around my house in green, navy blue, white and gold. The material looks and feels velvety, but not too heavy! They block a fair amount of light as well. Overall they are cozy and add just the right amount of luxury!! The only reason I give 4 stars is because the hem lines at the bottom don’t seem 100% even (you can’t tell when they hang near the floor), and the white curtains had some dirt stains in them. However, the seller had good customer service to fix the stain issue - they offered me a 50% discount on the stained curtains. ... show more

As you can see, I’m not quite finished setting up the whole curtain scheme like intended but these are the best addition so far! I have a very 70s living room theme & they’re perfect for it. I have them next to semi sheer curtains & as you can see the semi sheer are more light filtering & the gold (true to color) are more like privacy/borderline blackout but not quite. i love that they’re super light weight but still give me the privacy I was looking for! These curtains are good enough for the money. A little more cream than white and a little more sheer than I’d prefer for velvet. That said, they were inexpensive and they work for me. The worst part is, first set arrived but one panel had stains. So I ordered a replacement set. The replacement was MILDEWED. I could smell it, the package looked disgusting and one of the panels was stained with mold. I was able to get one good panel out of each package and return the other two, but the way these are stored Or something is ruining them! ... show more
